Im currently avoiding using my 1000k & 600k lamps also 4x8 HO sunblaze lamps, my HO floros are the red 3000k and some fillips 3500k that look a little more blue. I know I need to get something in the 6000k range for veg so I'm not touching that yet Im in love with this new hobby, I get home after 8hrs and run to check on my plant I can't help but worry.... What i am using is some super bright LED's i use for night riding, Its too cold to ride in the snow so they been repurposed...its bright i have to use my shades when I'm looking at my plant because after a few seconds of looking into the plant, i go a little blind and can't see in the dark. for a minute.

Last night I got a little confident and dropped(adjusted) the light about 2 inches from the top of the plant. Sadly, I fell asleep and when i woke up there were a few burnt leafs :( now I have no money left for chemicals except for the super thrive and this fish fert 5-1-1 but I don't think I'm going to use the fish fertz. Any who, I know this plant needs better monitor of ingoing water because i can't get a read above 7 ph from my runoff but i don't want to over water so gotta wait. and I also used some rooting powder once when i moved the seedling into the half gallon, threw a table spoon of some espoma garden lime in the mix then just water.

The plant looks like it really wants to be happy theres a nice unique fragrance on the plant, its growing very compact and not stretchy like others that I've seen. but its in the hands of a first time plant daddy with the best of intentions... now the waiting game.... Gracias! Thanks!

is that a hydro grow if not then why are you useing fish gravel get some soil it will make things easier and you do not need chemicals to grow or do you need cash for fertilizers or evan soil
just start a compost heap and there are some homemade insectiside solutions
