Ok well I'm trying to show u guys pics but I guess I can't... before it was just above the soil with the two curled over flaps and looked healthy I didn't wanna leave it in the dome after what everyone said about them so I set it between the germing seeds in the dome, and the light, I'm doing this in a dresser drawer with a light in its side aimed in at the dome (indirect light) I west the sprout there about midnight, and by 11 am instead of being erect the plant was shaped like a u with top touching soil, I have a heat mat in there the temp in the drawer is about 84°f please hurry and help before too late!!!

Well, looks like it's too hot in that drawer. Get new seeds and don't use such an enclosed space anymore. If you do, it may not be necessary to use a heat mat.

Ya see I was using it here n there for a fer minutes to maintain 80 cuz at 80 my soil was around 75... but I don't get what woulda caused that plant to limpen over night did I have it too close o the light!? But it was a florecent (not hot) ambient air in there was 79° I don't see anything that could possibly cause this to start dieing in just 10 hours!!! There's gotta be something I can do to save it! Having the light beside it instead of over it bad? The plant is obviously still alive its just withering what can I do to perk it up quick!? Also I have 5 other seeds in there that haven't sprouted yet u thin they're ok!?

might want to increase your air flow too

put it back in the dome.
If you start seeds in a dome they sprout and flourish because of the humidity - Remove the humidity all at once and the plant goes into shock
Thats why clones are 'trained' out of their domes.
Future note: Don't start seeds under a dome if your using a heatmat.

Should I be able to nourish it back to health!!!??? Its only a day old(above soil anyway)

its a toss up. Worth a try - expect it to be stunted if it does come back

Oh and there's no back on the dresser and its in my room with ceiling fan on I figured that'd be plenty of air cuz lots of air comes in from back and since I'm always in the the air is enriched god this has me all worked up!!!! Lol what temp should I keep drawer? Soil? Etc while germ? I was always unerring the impression 70-76 was optimal as hight as 82 would hurt either?

So since none of the others sprouted yet they did have 1/8" taps should they be ok? Like I said they're soils about 70-75 and they're in the dome should I maybe try putting some homes in the dome or something little by little for a few days until I can take it of completely or what?

Ok hope this helps... put a few pin holes in dome to start easing into taking it away, used an aerating mister to mist the casing dome pots and everything els VERY lightly raised light up so that its more like 8" above pots opened drawer the whole way look in my profile I'm gonna post these pics so u guts can tell me if its savable! All of what I did successfully dropped temps down to 72 in all areas, and I'm really hoping it with help this seedling pop back up ANY IDEAS WELCOME!!! please help!!!

I normally leave it in the dome till I see a good set of leaves, the main thing in a "Humidity" dome is humidity; is the cover on there good? Is there droplets of water in the dome? Thats what you want, and keep that light above the seedling, about 8" is ok

Indimaniac,
I'm afraid you need to educate yourself in a few areas, one of them being humidity domes and training or weaning your plants off the humidity.
You can easily use the search tool here at cannabis.com - Placing holes in a dome isn't what your after. As the plant gets older you take the dome off for a few minutes at a time, multiple times per day, then for hours, then for several hours, then a day - This is done GRADUALLY.
Please read more on growing - It will greatly benefit you.
I DO NOT say this to be rude - But educating yourself will help you learn not to make mistakes like this, and be in a frantic search for help when something goes wrong - always better to be prepared.

At the least, is the soil moist?
By the way, the image ain't posting
Indimaniac
02-08-2013, 07:41 PM
Yes its moist.. but not over watered I've growntons of plants I've never had this Helen I don't get it!! Unless its just shock from taking it out of the dome wich case it should be fine if it was strong enough at the time but beings only one day as a sprout I'm worried!!!

I have more grow experience than most trust me me and my dad have been doing indoor grows since I was a teen... I've never used a dome and thought I could use it just to help get a sprout then pull it, since the others didn't sprout at same rate... should saw that coming, its making things hard typically I germ then drip in a solo cup and let it grow I just wanted to try something different so why would some one take credibility points from me for that is there one single perfect person on here!? Is the one person who couldn't use some reading or knowledge in a few areas!? I'm just curious to know how my green credibility bars got pulled!? And some legitimate advise that why I joined because it seemed like this was a good community! And this whole not being able to make my pics post is really freaking frustrating, anyways would I have been better off skipping the dome all together would it have eliminated all these problems!?

So since the other 5 didn't sprout yet would I be better off just left-wing the humidity dome off and hoping for the best? Since the others didn't sprout yet it shouldn't affect them fight?

sounds like your temps are warm enough to avoid using the dome. I suspect that humidity domes are used with clones to reduce a clone's water loss, forcing the clone to retain water so they don't dry out until they grow enough roots to pull water from soil. When air satuated with water vapor, it will resist taking up more, thus disallowing clones to lose water through evaporation. when sprouting from seed, plant and root grow pretty much at the same time, so you don't need to worry about water loss to the atmosphere. Hence, no dome required provided your airtemps are okay, i.e., not too cold.

Ok so I took out the back of the drawer I put in a 4 inch fan got Ph perfect ant is perking back up great, stem looks a lil dark n spindly but the leaves are growing and perfect color, I took off the dome a while back lost the mat and dropped down to 7" from light got a new 32watt 2300lumen cross and have been tinkinering with my fan but for a few day old 1" tall sprout what is an optimal temp range in a box like this? Like I said I never GRE like this as soon as it gets a little stronger(my rooms almost ready) its going in the room under my hps and I should be all good.... but I'm playing with the fan to hit optimal temp blowinging right at the plant for a while then at the light to see if cooling the light works better, the facing it out the back to suck the heat out so well see what works the best but can someone tell me where I wanna be temp range who does enclosed grows successfully so I can get her ready for the room!!!???

Actually beings I'm an engineers I had everything laying around I spent 7$ on a 5in desk fan and I think 40& on lights I got an ec and Ph meter for I think 38 or so and a weather strip kit I had around.... but before the fan it was just getting too ho so I took the back panel off put the Fan there and now it sits at a perfect 76° before it was getting up.to +95!! That and I think with the back panel off if makes perfect for fresh air exchange and co2 enrichment...
