Whats up Im new here, I've posted this question a couple of times. Mellow Mood suggested that I post it in here, he said someone might be able to help. I got a plant from a friend to use as a mother plant. It has some funky leaves. What do I do?

post a pic and explain what it is you are trying to accomplish.

a pic and its age would be nice to see and know but my advice is to maybe repot into final container and water real well and just wait........G L

From the pics it looks like they've been attacked by bugs or something. Check underneath the leaves for bugs.

post a pic of the entire plant.

you can almost always find individual leaves that are phucked up, but it helps tp look at the plant as a whole.

we cant see the plant as a whole.

Are you growing it in a measuring cup???

It's called aero ponics the stems hang in air and and are sprayed with nutrients on a 24/7 basis. It's the only way I clone now, I built a system just like the EZ Cloner that holds 74 units.

i see a HUGE problem with those containers...

They're white, and not very opaque. Roots HATE light! spray paint those containers black or cover em up or something...

I don't think that's the source of your "funky leaves" but it certainly was a red flag to me when i first saw your pictures.

The leaves looked burnt, but it could also be a bug...

Happy hunting i guess.. keep us posted.

BUT COVER UP THOSE POTS

hey skipper jethuth cry tht! You should go to walmart buy an desk trash can and gravel. Put one 5 lb bag on the bottom. Cut the bottom off that little bay bee cunt aina. Place a screen over the bottom, you know the ones for water pumps inside evap coolers. Place on 2 to 3" inches of gravel. Violin! Hydro nutes at 30% strength every two weeks, if evaporation occurs use water refill to 2 to 3" line. Strait water in coolaid container. And cut off that damn handle. Peace Love And Fatbuds

this message is to bobong.....just a question about white pots....i heard somewhere that white pots are good because black pots keep heat trapped in them and will burn up the roots....is this true
