Am i doin this right??

Hey..I just started growing and I have about 15-20 seeds. I did the whole 'wrap it in wet paper towels until the begin to sprout' thing and about 4 seeds have..thanx for that advice, I went to plant them and i didn't know what i was doin so i jus kinda threw them in the soil and poured a lil more on the top. One of my plants is coming through and the seed shell is around the part that is showing. Did i put it in there upside down? ? What do i do next?

Hey man your doing good so far. this is right, wait a few more days and if the shell doesn't fall off try to pick it off with your fingernail, BE GENTLE if it won't come off leave it a couple days. After the shell comes off you now have a baby, take good care of it. You should really take this topic to the Growing Basics forum. Peace

yeh ganjamon is right this is perfectly normal, the shell should fall off naturally. Good luck.
