So I have decided to start a new grow. Im using a 1.2m x 1.2m Grow tent currently using 400watt HPSfor veg and im going to change to 600watt for flower
I have 7 seedlings only a week old in there.
6 x Emerald Triangle's Blueberry Headband Strain and 1 of Conniseur Genetics Rainbow Jones.
(if anyone has had any growing experience with these 2 strains i'd be verry happy to hear any reviews)
All Seedlings are in 4" pots in a Plagron Light Mix.
I rescently took a trip to my local Hydraponic shop for some new nutes, the guy behind the counter helped me out by writing down his whole feeding schedule.
I already had most of the nutes he advised to use apart from a couple. Here's the Nutes i was advised to use, let me know what you think.
Veg
Root Excellerator
Super Thrive
Plant Magic - Grow
Royal Gold (fulvic Acid)
Flower
Plant Magic - Bloom
Royal Gold
Super b+
Ton'o'Bud
Heavies
Overdrive.
(Im also thinking about trying to add some Black Strap mollasses near the end on the plants cycle if possible)

Heres some pictures from today just after their feed. I was thinking about assembling my other grow tent and mothering one of the 7 plants under a couple blue spectrum CFL's so i can take 6 clippings from her 4 weeks before the first lot of 6 are due to be chopped.

The lower leaves have turned yellow and dried out, would i be right to say this could be a nitrogen defficiency? I only started adding the Plant magic today which has nitrogen hopefully this isnt too serious. What do you think?

I transplanted the ladies 2 days ago and all is well. Their was more roots than expected when the plants were removed from their smaller pots. I think this could have stunted growth a little as growth was slow over the few days before transplant. All of the ladies seem to be enjoying their new pots. ill upload pictures shortly. The lower leaves are still yellow but all new growth looks nice and healthy. Thinking about flipping to 12/12 on friday.

Thanks PR its good to see people are taking an interest in my grow. Im happy with the feedback regarding the strains and i'm eagerly anticipating to see the results. Im planning on flipping these ladies on friday so were likely to see some vigirous growth over the next couple weeks. Im trying to keep everything simple this time as with previous grows i've jumpred into the deep end attempting Scrog and more advanced techniques but ive realised now its better to keep things simple and hopefully be rewarded with nice fat sticky resin covered nugs :stoned: ... Looking forward to the future....

Good News, We have 6 Deffinate females. All 6 plants are showing female pre-flowers with a few pistills bursting out. Noticing these i have decided to flip to 12/12 today so they are now into their flowering stage. Happy days! Plenty new growth sprouting underneath (hard to see in the pictures)
Heres where the fun begins.

Day 1 of flower and all is well. New growth underneath getting quite bushy and all the ladies are gradually getting taller! Added large fan into the tent today to get the air moving around. On the next feed ill be adding the Plant Magic - Bloom as well as Root Excell and superthrive for the first 2 weeks of their flowering cycle. I am going to do some research on DIY co2 systems to get some extra carbon dioxide in their with them. Has anyone tried any methods or had any experience with shop baught co2 regulators?
Would also like to hear from someone with experience regarding molasses as im interested on the benefits this has on my plants. Ill throw up another update in a couple days with some more pictures. Peace out

i was looking into it but in such a small space it might not be worth it, i have a couple 4 x 4 x 6 tents i think a better option is using carbonated water and spraying them.
co2 sorta needs a good seal, at least better than most tents have. I'm gonna start with water in a week or so we'll see how well it works. i hear it works well tho.

Hi Cairnzy, there are a few threads here on Molasses....;)

I swear, let me smell a bud that had molasses used and I can smell the difference:thumbsup:. It seems, the really good bud from the collectives here, the grower used molasses. And grows out to a late harvest for the 'couchlock.'
:thumbsup:Headband and Blueberry...this is going to be very interesting results; Since, both are excellent for pain, arthritis, spasms and most pain!!! I think the Headband is a bit quicker acting, than the Blueberry, regardless..both are equally great medications. pr

Well Pr i think molasses is deffinately on the cards. I have heard nothing but good things about it!
All the ladies are really blooming now, plenty of new growth underneath the canopy. I could only manage to get a quick shot of inside the tent yesterday as i was in a hurry.

looking nice and healthy. day 6 of flower, plenty new pistills forming on all of the new growth. All of the new branches growing from the bottom half of the plants are strarting to really stretch up for the light. Im planning on waiting a couple more weeks before switching the 400w to a 600w hps and maybe a couple red spectrum CFL's underneath the canopy to provide light to the lower less mature buds.

Quick update, all of the ladies are getting huge! Today I have had to open up some of the lower side branches by wrapping a little string around the branch and pulling it down slightly and taping it to the side of the pot as they werent receiving enough light down there. I think i might have to switch the 400 to the 600watt earlier than i thaught for more light penetration below the canopy as theyre really filling out the tent! I only got a quick couple of pictures but tomorrow i'll get right in there and get some more detailed snaps.

The ladies starting to show their girly bits!
ill throw up a better update tomorrow when i have more time. Im going to upgrade the bulb very soon to the 600watt as some of the fan leaves are getting hugee and blocking some light from reaching the bottom haf of the plants.
