I apologize on a lengthy post in advance, but I'm trying to be as through as possible. Thanks for your reply.
Hello. You've probably read questions like this everyday so if you swore you were only going to answer one more, let it be this one, LOL.
I received a job offer but I am not sure if I will pass my UA, if tested.
On Jan 7th, I took a home test and failed. I had about one week that I had quit smoking.
So today makes it about 3 weeks with out smoking.
Before that I would smoke chronically and have been for a few months. Maybe a year. Not daily but very often. Some weeks 3-4 times, some seven days a week, some none, and some just once. I would smoke no more than a gram per week but in some instances more, but no more than an 1/8th oz per week.
The two weeks prior to quitting, I only smoked once or twice during each week.
Now me: I'm about 5'11, no taller than 6ft and weigh around 195lbs.
I lift weights 3-4 times a week and jog occasionally. Been doing that since '08 so I have a lot of muscle but also have some fat since I used to be a fat dude. My job is physically demanding, I offload a trailer and I'm always on my feet. I do not sweat much but I do work out a lot. I eat healthy. My diet doesn't differ much from chicken, tuna, eggs, brown/black beans, lentil beans, sandwiches, protein shakes, oatmeal and such. Upon research I came across a piece of information that said to eat fatty foods a few days before the test, so I pretty much loaded up, LOL. Ate burritos, greasy Mexican food, Salvi food, moms regular cooking. Put extra sour cream and cheese on a bunch of crap, drank regular soda, etc.
Not sure how fast is my metabolism.
Today was my interview and I thought the UA would be today so I drank a 'Stinger' detox that I bought on the 7th along with my drug test but ended up being not tested. The dude claimed the detox would have my piss clean for 5 hours and after that, that my body would be 35% cleaner. Sounds like BS to me though. I have to go back in tomorrow, I'm assuming to finalize paper work and I'm dreading that a UA might be included also.
EDIT: I've also read not to work out few days prior to the UA. Haven't worked out since Friday. I already feel like a slob, and I'm probably going to the park later to job. Does anyone advice against it? Why? ..how about lifting weights?
Thanks, Erik.
