Bud at 10" high

Just curious if anyone would know why my plant is budding when its only 10 inches tall? Is this bad?

whats your light cycle? what strain? is it an autoflower? with no more info than whats there it sounds like your light cycle is on flower but who knows

The plants are 2.5 months old.. I had them on 8 hrs of light..

Dunno the strain. Just through a seed out of a bag into some soil..

mmm you need to do some readin my friend. vegetative(normal growing) cycle should be 18 on 6 off.
flowering cycle should be 12 on 12 off, 8 is going to make them flower and maybe hermie.
not sure what an 8 hour cycle will produce exactly.

I have done this once before an i ended up with a 2 foot tall plant. When it was done i had a giant christmas tree bud that weighed just over a pound.

Your first grow, at 8 hours a day, growing to 2 ft of veg and it yielded a lb?
Not to sound skeptical, but that sounds like bullshit to me.
Any pics to back that up?
What kind of setup do you have?
