chossing pots for small cab?

i have a total height of 3 feet, what size pots shoud i be using? im gnna try 4 plants in 3x3x3

found out a simple rule of thumb is: 1 gallon of pot size to 1 foot of plant height .

Yeah, but you can put a tupperware tote in your box, fill it anywhere from 1/4 to completely full, and then place your plants inside and LST. 5 gallon pots will do just fine in a 3' cabinet (I have 3 five gallon pots in my flowering box, each with 2-4 plants in it) Just tie them down if you know they'll be too big :)
