hello All :), first grow ever I did 10 week veg, and now I'm on day 11 of flowering and I've done a lot of research so i knew what i was getting into as best as i could, anyways Im seeing some beautiful hairs emerging, I'm using 3 CFls putting out about 100W power with around 4,500 lumens also with two strip lights, 1 using around 18W with 290 lumens but the color spectrum is perfect for flowering, the other strip being another florescent tube. Anyways I just wanted to introduce myself and let you guys know whats going on, its about 3 feet tall 1in .

Get your lights as close to that plant as possible.. Like within 2 inches... and try to spread the lights out so they hit the sides of the plant a little better.. CFL's loose lumens VERY quickly the further they are from the plant.. So you will want to get those as close as you possibly can!

Looking great! Keep it up. You said this is your first grow, do you already have more in veg? It goes quick after its dry/cured. What method are you going to use to cure?

Well, you cut, then hang - Don't hang the entire plant, that's an old wives tail. I personally get rid of the fan leaves when I do this, but others leave them and just hang the full stems, others trim the bud section out of the stalk (not the bud off the stock, note that) and put them in a dry box or dry bag. So, don't hang your entire tree.
Personally, I keep them coming.
Also, if you do hang the entire branch, cut away the sections you don't need unless you have really fluffy nuggets, but either way, you can put the stem straight into the mason jars. This helps keep air in the container so we don't suffocate the buds, if you trim the buds or trim and manicure, and put them in the jar, there will be less air flow, which means more turning buds, which means more shake at the bottom of the jar :D
Just some advice!

Plant looks really healthy. You're doing really well by it. I would suggest that if you like to grow with cfl (lower level lighting), you may want to keep your plants much shorter so that the lights can be easily kept on the bud sites (thanks,XXXJAYXXX). You could top them early, or have a shorter veg period. Also, use mylar or white cardboard stock to reflect the light back onto the plant. Keep the mylar in close so you're not lighting the room but just the plant. I use this method and you can quickly move the cardboard to tend the plants, much easier than a cabinet.
Keep up the good grow, Bub!
