Growing Autos outdoors?

Anyone have experience with growing autos outdoors? Ive got a bunch of auto seeds I would like to try growing outdoors. Just wondering if I would get better results growing them now indoors or waiting unitl spring. I also have a bunch of regular phenos, so im trying to decide. Thanks

I tried two autoflowers outside in containers and failed utterly.

I'm beginning to think that seed companies claim indoor/outdoor plants are really only suitable for indoors.

What went wrong with the grow? Just wondering. I don't want to waste the seeds. Ive got quite a few auto fems seeds and am anxious to pop them.
