Red card expiring in February

My red card's expiring in February. I really don't have the time right now to read up what to do. I can't grow in my apartment so I'm asking here hoping for an answer I like. I'm about out of medication. What to do? Get another doc rec? Have a friend buy for me? What gives?

I got around to calling a dispensary and they said to just keep the red card current until things are formally worked out.

there will be good reason to have your red card for at least another year unless you want to depend on others to purchase your weed for you, or you know a caregiver... Since it will take 4-6 weeks to get your card, you better hit up a buddy..

Christmas/New Years isn't exactly the best time to be handing the state $100. Like the last time, I'll buy right before the card expires and have a buddy tie me over until I get around to renewing...or not. The woman on the phone mentioned something about October 2014 but it wasn't quite clear what she meant. Perhaps this should be my target date for expiration. In the meantime, I'll wait and see what they come up with. Thx

I was including the doc rec for $65 but now that you can buy from anybody, it seems like a waste of $
