Hey guys :D Im new here and this is my first thread! Ive done a ton of research on Quick fix and found most of my information here so let me start off by saying THANK YOU!~~~

So a little background...I smoke very frequently and just got a call 2 weeks ago for an amazing job that I actually applied for SEVEN MONTHS AGO..needless to say I wasnt expecting to hear from them nor was I expecting to take a drug test. Substitution was the absolute only way to go. I ordered some quick fix from urineluck.com, practice where I was going to hide it (snuggled in my bra was the best way to go for me) and prepared myself as much as I could. I was completely freaking out about doing this but as the days came closer I felt a bit more confident and mostly because of what I read on here. So I went for the drug test and was asked to wash my hands, put my purse and coat away and then asked to go fill-er-up ;) Thankfully the lady standing outside the bathroom was making a ton of noise moving stuff around which made me a tad more comfortable..but even if she wasnt it was super easy. I too, like some others have said, used the regular cap instead of the squirting one in fear that it might make noise when the quick fix was done. Also, the 2 oz bottle was more than enough for the test. The temperature was spot on 96 degrees! She packed it up (the place Im applying for specifically put on the lab slip no ecup so it needed to be sent off) and i was OUT OF THERE! My test was a 9-panel w/ PH, NIT and again no ecup. Now Im just hoping that it worked and I get the call because I would hate to not get this job that, again, ive hoped to hear from for 7 months.

I really just wanted to let anyone else know who is thinking about subbing my experience and how easy it was..truly. And also to thank everyone on here for all your great tips and sharing your experiences because it really helped me out! Hopefully next post from me will be that I got the job! *fingers crossed* until then...:rastasmoke:

So what do you guys think...I took the drug test last Wednesday, they sent it to a lab in another state. If I haven't heard of any bad news by now, think im in the clear? I don't doubt the QF worked but it feels to good to be true and Im wondering what you guys think time frame wise.

If you dont hear anything from your prospective employer by 12/5/12, give the employer a call and ask for your "start date". The employers response would shed light on whether youre good to go, or if the employer had moved on to the next applicant for hire.

Never inquire about the test results. A person who is truly "drug-free" would never do this because theres no reason to do so. Doing so would only raise suspicion. During your interaction with the employer, youd want to adopt the mindset "I dont do drugs therefore my drug test is a non-issue".....

and carry on in a manner that a "drug-free" person would.

Okay so this morning I emailed the woman from the company inquiring about my first day (which they already told me would be monday dec. 10th) and what I need to bring, she said "the background check is currently in review and will be finished in a few hours" and that she would call me by tomorrow to give me all the details I need for my first day on Monday....so does that pretty much mean im good to go?? :):)

Sounds like it. But don't F it up, make sure you abstain for a while, just in case the lab loses your specimen and you have to take it again or something stupid like that. It happened to me.
