Hello everybody!
I want to start the morning writing about another important pest: The Aphid.
Is another pest that we must consider it, quite popular in outdoor plants (garden, orchard...).
They are easily detectable and usually not the worst problems in combating them.

We will learn more of these vermin: This insect is balloon-shaped body, small and soft. Their size ranges between 1 and 10 mm.
Although there are several species of aphids, you see on our growing marijuana will be yellow, green or black, her legs are long and thin, they have two antennas, with pear-shaped belly.
As you will see them sucking insects absorbing the juices of the plant by its peak articulated nailed on the ground. They are easy to locate and forming large colonies, which can be of different sizes and colors (green, yellow, black). Some species even manage to develop a pair of wings, which allows them to move from plant to plant.
The expansion of this pest is by reproduction. The two forms of reproduction of aphids is by laying eggs and asexually (unfertilized females themselves, start small bear shaped adult aphids). Its high reproducibility makes in very short periods of time the plants are plump them.
They usually stay in the same plant where they are grown ... but after a few generations they grow wings that will serve them to migrate between plants and increase their habitat.

Most often you see them in the young parts of the plant, look for them on the tips of the branches younger.
DAMAGE:
One of the problems of this pest is that aphids secrete a fluid through two siphons hosted on your abdomen. This liquid is sugared quite sticky and will permeate the plant surface, which prevents the normal development of the same and attracts insects such as ants, or fungi.
The relationship we have with ants is rather curious, since these ants like the sticky substance that makes the aphid and care for them and even take them from one sheet to another to provide food.

With all this ... cause deformation to reach the ground, and also feed it to the van becoming increasingly weak. Its peculiar way of eating does not appreciate visible damage on the ground (do not tear the cells, but the filament drilled his mouth ... and advanced symptoms appear after the plague).
1 - Deformation of leaves. Turn yellow, shrivel, dry up.
2 - Transmit viral diseases because of their shifts plant to plant.
3 - Production of fungi. They appear on the leaf surface that creates a sticky aphid and facilitates the development of fungi and viruses.
The best way to detect it visually, is looking younger branches and the undersides of leaves.
PREVENTION BETTER THAN CURE:
Aphid prevention is quite simple, put a clove of garlic in each pot ... this smell not support it.
The neem oil is an excellent preventive spraying the plant, like irrigation.
I have aphids on my crop ... How do I act?
First of all, you know it's one of the easiest pest elimination, you should have no major problems with it.
To stop them, we can use products on the market:
- Neem Oil
- Compo anti aphid
It should spray the plant in the best way possible, especially in the branches and trunks of the underside of the leaves. Outdoors, we recommend, make treatment in the early morning or late afternoon stage. So the product will be longer in contact with the ground and be much more effective.
There are also home remedies...
Spraying garlic:
- Crush 150 grams
- Dissolve 100 grams of soap in 10 liters of water.
- Mix and filter.
Apply to plants.
Spraying of nettles:
- Macerate a good bunch of nettles for a day.
- Filter the soaking water.
Apply to plants.
Spraying snuff:
- Get the snuff that you own butts or cigarette.
- Throw into a 2-liter jar with water.
- Let stand 24 hours.
Apply to plants.
If you have the chance to get a few ladybugs, this insect is the natural enemy of aphids.Ladybugs have your area clean of them.

With all this, you should have no problems with this pest.
So... that's all!
Hope this info will be useful for you, and if you need ask me something, just do it!:rastasmoke:
Have a nice wednesday!
