Like everyday, I want to speak about another important pest in marijuana growing.
THRIPS

Naturally, the first thing is to know our enemy.
If we have to say that the trip in outdoor isnā??t very problematic, it usually more bothersome in indoor growing.
This small insect (0.8 to 3 mm.), which males being smaller than females, have two pairs of feathery wings that are folded over the back.
They reproduce by eggs (white hyaline) that inserts within the plant tissues.
The optimum temperature for reproduction varies between 20 and 25 Ā° C (as you can see, so there is usually an indoor growing of marijuana). Above 35 degrees, and there is no development.

Appearance of Thrips is favorable for dryness and heat.

DAMAGE:
These insects attack all parts of our beloved plant (stems, leaves), achieving deform and slow their growth.
Although not a very aggressive pest, it is persistent, so we recommend a regular review of our plants to avoid surprises, which can decimate quite the production and quality.
Symptoms of Thrips occurs in the leaves and small galleries of one to two millimeters, which makes the trips holes to suck and lay eggs.

You can see that it may be much like symptoms of the whitefly, but the holes are larger than the fly.
Without action, these small galleries and holes discolor eventually acquire the leaf a silvery appearance.
PREVENTION:
As prevention can be irrigated with Neem oil as a preventative biological, which will strengthen the plants against this pest.
You can put anti-insect mesh ducts intraction.
Blue adhesive in crop, which will trap Thrips, warning us of the appearance of these insects.
Too late, I have plants infected by Thrips...
Above all you must know that the product applications should reach either the whole plant, especially the lower leaf surface.
Try to keep the relative humidity below 40% moisture, as well dull progress of the pest.
If the plants are growing, you can use more aggressive products, such as Buzz Off by BioBizz.
If you get a chance, you can use their natural predator: the ladybug.

For greener can be a home remedy:
The smell is a bit strong, but it is very effective as an insecticide (can be used in flower):
Empty the contents of two packages of snuff in a liter of water, to which we add a clove of garlic and onion (if the cut made much better). Leave the "potion" in a glass container uncovered and the sun for about two or three days.
With a strainer, strain the "potion" and includes in the result a tablespoon of potassium soap (you can substitute dishwashing soap that is biodegradable).
The soap which makes it help to remain fixed in the plant leaves.
So you only need to spray the flat (put special emphasis on the undersides of leaves). Use this remedy once a week, if the pest is very persistent, use it every three days.
