Hi

I've been vegging my white widow for 30 days now and tonight I noticed my plant is showing signs of female(it was feminized seed so I already knew it would be) and its only around a foot tall and still on 18/6 light cycle,so I was wondering if it's time to switch to 12/12? I was planning on switching over at 5 weeks (in 5 days time) but as I only have a small grow box and it's alre ady shown signs should I do it now? Thanks

They say that you should wait until the plant is at least 12 inches tall, but that, to me, will give you low yield. I'd say wait until month 2 or even 3. You can do it now I guess, but I don't know if you'd be happy with the amount of bud you end up with since the flowering period takes about 2 months.

Yea I did think that but im limited on space as I only have a small grow box made from a chest of draws so not big at all. im thinking maybe flower this one and when it's done, get a bigger grow tent and then start again and make bigger plants

unless you use bushmaster your plant will double maybe triple in hieght. that is your concern. I don't know your cabinet but I would start flower now.

my cabinet is 3 foot high by 3 foot diameter and 49cm wide so not big. ive put her on the 12/12 cycle today at 34 days vegging and ive done a bit of lst to see how that goes (i know i should have done that from veg) but i didnt think id need to so i done it today and going to leave it for a couple of weeks for a few more tops and then il cut the strings. also i got my plant in pre treated soil with pete perlite and bat guano so i havent used any vegging nutes but i got some plant magic old timer bloom for flowering and was wondering when to start using it,i was thinking in maybe a weeks time? could i lst through flowering all the way or is that a bad idea?

training the plant can be done right on through. Put the bud sites in the light is the main objective.
