There is plenty of talk around here, in Southern Calif. of a new CBD crew, that is the 'best' yet?

Cannasee..have you seen it? Do you have any idea of which one? thanks in advance. pr

I haven't heard yet, but CBD Crew (a joint venture between Resin Seeds & Mr Nice) is now hooking up with Dutch Passion.

However, it just looks like Skunk Haze so far - something CBD Crew has had all along.
Maybe this means that one strain will be more readily available and they'll expand the lineup even more?

Dutch Passion says they will be making CBD-rich versions of some of their most popular strains, so that's a good sign.

My thoughts are that this is going to be kind of like the autos - it'll start off slow & there'll be tons to choose from within about 5 years.
There's a lot of exciting things coming out of California with extremely high CBD (like more than 10%) paired with practicall non-existant THC.
Only problem is that the strains aren't stable & you have to hope you get the right pheno.

Many say that they have 3 phenos within each strain - 1 will be very high CBD to very low CBD, 1 will be even, and one will be high THC/low CBD.
People who don't have have the time or other resources to play around find that to be too much of a risk - although, if you get a good mother, you'd be set.

If I hear anything, I'll keep you guys posted because I'm very interested in this, but you can always keep an eye on Dutch Passion's or CBD Crew's websites.

Thank You C-S, after reading this, I realized, 'Dutch Passion' came up, in the same conversation. Their OG, is pretty good.

Steve at Harbourside is working very hard to find the low or no THC and high med, strain. There is a medicinal push, all over this state for patients and Rich Medicine.

I, personally, love the Indica Blueberry (DJ Shorts) here on the wright coast! ;) It is my weapon of choice, to medicate for neuro/muscular pain and arthritis.

Just as you are here, thanks and I'll look forward to some periodic updates?
there is definitely a rumble of a big 'winner' plant. :rasta:

You might want to check out Centennial Seeds Otto.

We don't sell that one, but I was looking at it.

It's kind of a pheno hunt (like most of the very low THC to high CBD strains seem to be)
you could get practically no THC to very high CBD, an even ratio, or the standard high THC to practically no CBD

Of course, if someone had the resources to grow a few of these out, they might be able to isolate a good mother and the traits should be handed down to any clones.

:thumbsup:TY C-S; Love the new avatar!

It looks more like we patients are looking for the best medicinal strains with the highest yield, to keep plant counts down. As, I have a feeling, the next frontier... could be the count, on legal grows. pr

The new avatar is from our site redesign - launch will be in a few months.

I think that the big issue with overall legalization will be whether you'll be allowed to grow legally at all - of course count could be factored in too.

Since it's quickly going to recreational in addition to medicinal because the states want their taxes, they may choose to pass laws that are like alcohol.
If they treat it like beer/wine, you'd be able to grow a few for personal use.
If they treat it like hard liquor, no personal growing would be allowed.

And, since big alcohol companies have been lobbying against legalization, you have to think they'd push for no personal growing - same with pharamaceutical companies.

I'm all for legalization, but I always worry that big govt & big business will screw it all up like everything else.
