i read that my 5 gal buckets are overkill. how small can i go? cut off milk jugs too small?hit me back

well,it depends on how big you plan on growing them,i use 7 gallon pots!!,i put my cloans in 2 gallon,when there ready,about 2-3 weeks let them grow for 5-6weeks,then transplant them to 7 gallon, 2 weeks before i turn them back!!


outside or inside? How big do your plants get?

Think of it like this for every foot of plant is one gallon of pot needed...

Once your plant reaches a foot or so in height, it is a great time to move the plant to a 5 gallon bucket, because it allows the plant to expand its roots, which accelerates growth, and use all the available soil.
