hey guys, can someone read my troubleshooting form and give me some advice. i'm a first time grower and would appreciate some opinions and help. i just want to know how long to veg my plant for as its in a small space. and how to get a higher yield. thanks.

What is your experience level? (first timer, novice, experienced...)

Your Equipment:
.1) 250w dual spectrum, plan on using throughout the whole plants life.
.2) about eight inches from the light
.3) bat wing reflector
.4) have an intake vent in the bottom middle of the grow box (no fan)
.5) its a tt100 extractor fan and just a normal desk top fan on the floor on speed 1
.6) 250w. 18/6 cycle, two weeks into veg.

Your medium:
.7) soil is bat special, already has peat moss and perlite
.8) not too sure on size of container, probably about 10-15 litres
.9) Did you use peat pucks (or similar) to root clones or germinate seedlings? not sure

Your nutrients and water:
10) tap water, ph is normally 7-7.2
11) test strips used to check ph
12) ph up and ph down
13) not currently using any nutrients
14) not currently feeding but watering every 3-4 days or when soil is dry and about 2litres to allow run off water
15) no additives
16) ph levels tend to be stable
17) ingoing ph is normally between 6-6.5. dont normally test the runoff ph.
18) no foliar feed.

Your growroom:
19) indoors
20) small closet around 3ft tall, width 49cm and diameter 89cm.
21) with lights on the temp is around 26/27c and humidity is normally between 40-60% but goes up and down alot. with lights off temp is around 14/15c.
22) no insects seen. did have a few problems with overwatering and tips of the leaves went yellow, curled and dried, but seems to be getting better.

Your strain:
23) white widow 60% indica and 40% sativa from medical seed company
24) from seed. plant is two weeks into veg (four weeks from germination) and is currently around 4/5 inches tall with lots of big leaves and a thick stem. ive done a little bit of low stress training as i have a small space.
25) not an autoflower strain but feminised.

thanks for reading, any advice would be appreciated on what nutes i could use and how long i can veg for, and how to get top yield.

.8) not too sure on size of container, probably about 10-15 litres

next time; don't veg in such a large container. 3-5 liter would be plenty. Then transplant when root-bound.

I use a simple granular, mix with water 20-20-20 NPK nute in veg. & a little blood meal mixed into the soil.

(don't know what 'bat special' soil is?)(is that 250 light, HID?)

Good Luck

Tend to agree with Dutch, 3-5 l containers are fine in veg. The trick is t-planting only once into larger containers a tad before flower. Personally used like 2 - 3 gallon containers a week or so before this way they are not too stressed when ya flip! That's me..... There are a hundred ways to grow indoors all leading to a beautiful outcome.

I will post some pics up to show you exactly what I got when I figure out how to upload them haha! I was using a lot smaller pot,I think it was something like 6inch tall by 4 inches wide pot from germination but it stopped growing and I thought I'd over watered so I put her in the bigger pot to see what happened and she started again fine so I thought it was ok...the bat special soil is a 50l sack I bought in the sea of green(a grow shop in England) and it has Pete moss and perlite from what I can see and has bat guano...the bulb is a 250watt dual spectrum,I think it's a hps as the light is orange sort of but that's all I know about that. Hopefully I will buy a proper grow tent soon when I got the money probably a 120cm square (only small)
