I recently made some cannabutter and used it in chocolate chip cookies. Everything is fine until a couple of hours later my mouth dries right out and can last for a couple of hours its quite uncomfortable and drinking liquids doesn't seem to make any difference any solutions for this?

Same thing happened to me with Canna Oil in brownies. 3 different batches.

I can't explain why. I have been smoking cannabis for a long time; and never got cottonmouth that bad.

There are some sprays, and gums you can chew to help this out. Biotene, is over the counter. Comes in a spray, gum, liquid rinse and a toothpaste. Or suck on some hard candy. That is what my dentist told me.

And, with persistence, I'd request a prescription for a flouride toothpaste. I believe, we can now, buy.one from Colgate, that is OTC, but you may have to ask the pharmacist for it.

I have purchased and made, many edibles from cannabudder, and I've not experienced that. Whatever bud you used, you may want to save it for a day when You want to be dry! It is getting pretty hard to find strains that cause cottonmouth. Or, is that from tolerance?

Which brings me to my question? How was the high? pr

You should wait for some more days to see the differences.

After reading this, I started having dry mouth, about 10 minutes, at weird times, during the day? Hypochondria, comes to mind. Sympathy pains?

Idk, but I didn't have it today!;) pr

After reading this, I have been getting 'Kottonmouth' from the oil, I've been taking. Lasts about an hour, right about now.
Must be in the air! idk, :rasta: pr

Hammerbutt, I understand the beginner part.

I use to get dry mouth often. No matter what I had. Since, I've gone to medicinal grades, it is usually, pretty hard for me to get Kottonmouth. However, I continue to, with that particular rso..too much sativa for me.

Sativa's are generally the ones that give kottonmouth the most. Try a smaller dose and work your way up.

When it is allergy season, I'd kill for a great sativa like that! My rso is made from, what has to be, a Sativa Dom. hybrid.

You would want to try more of the Indica meds. If that is available to you. Or grow?

Let us know, what you do? It is not only very uncomfortable, but continued 'dry mouth' will give you dental disease and caries. pr
