After years of growing with clones I had to re-start from non-female seeds. I eventually had 21 well labelled plants of three different strains. Eight days ago, I put (10) into Flowering, of those I have three females...great...but now I have (11) other plants that are large and need to be put into 12/12 to determine sex.

I do not have the space and resources to have two flowering zones. Can I pull the three know females back into veg while I sex the next (11)? Or do I leave them in Flowering, knowing there will be some males and I will get seeds in female buds?

- Yes I have clones of the three already growing in veg.

Thanks for advice.

You must increase the space and male buds.

after sexing you can put them back in veg just be aware that it will cost you a couple of weeks of growth

The males wont pollinate the females unless the pods open and release pollen. There's plenty of time to sex and remove them before they open if you know what you are looking for. Sounds like you do. So the choice is up to you. If you are confident in sexing plants you can cont. to flower or if you have doubts you can throw them back in veg. They have only been flowering for 8 days so I dont really see any major setbacks if you decide to put them back in veg. Thats just my opinion though. Good luck

Thanks for that info...I will put the remaining (11) in tonight when "daylight" returns. It will be interesting to see if the percentage of the slower growing/ cloning group is higher then the fast growers that were flowered 1st. I had read that often times the faster growing are male.

So here is hoping there are less footballs in second batch!

If you really don't have room just take a few cuttings you can have roots in just a few days and then sex those.

Genuine, how did everything go?

I like Negative's suggestion - I may be using that in my home too before we 12/12 the adults. I've read you can 12/12 from seeds, so I'm thinking we'll do that for the cuttings with root powder when they are 2 weeks from when we want to start their flowering. :)
