Failed pee test after 52 days ?

This is an old story, but a few years back, I had stopped smoking for 52 days, so I thought there was no need to "cheat" on the test.......Boy, I was wrong.....

According to Medtox, I didn't pass that test.....

I normally do 3 BT's, (bong tokes), and then go do something for a few hours, then do 3 more a little later.....(no joint after joint kinda smoking).....this is on the weekends........ during the week, after work, I only do this a couple of times during the night, so maybe 2 or 3 sets of 3 BT's during a work night.

Would that be considered a heavy smoker?

Could the test have been wrong?

I weigh 160 Lbs, and don't even really have a beer gut.....so no fat to speak of.....and mainly smoke "mid grade", and not the kill weed.....



Now I am out of work, (lost my job 10-3-12), and will need to test to get another job....

I am struggling with should I just sub for the test.....and keep on smoking?.....If not, I should probably completely stop for 90 days to make sure I am clean.....thats a long time to stretch out an unemployment check, and I will still not totally trust if I am clean or not.....

What do y'all think ?

....and let me add.....once I was completely clean, I tested myself after smoking 2 BT's, 3 BT's and 5 BT's .... (paid for the tests at our local drug testing place, the cup test, NOT the send off test)

As best as I can remember, two BT's were gone in about two days.......3 BT's were gone in about 5 days....I think 5 BT's were gone after 7.... but thats just me.....I assume that everybody is different ?


I didn't self test every day.....just after 3, 5, and 7 days....so, they may have been gone sooner....hard to say....

I did this so I could know how much I could safely smoke after our random test had passed......never smoked for a full week and tested.....

interesting. im about the same amount of days clean as you and going thru medtox too. i've been getting faint line negatives on my home test kits and felt confident after getting feedback from burnt toast. but reading this, starting to worry me again. how long were you smoking before you stopped? like years or months?

....oh...since I was about 15......I was probably 45 when this happened.....sorry to worry you....I know how that feels....

no prob. just dont want to lose my job. but thx for the response. anyways, that's 30 years of smoking then before you stopped for the 52 days. i guess i shouldn't worry too much since im like a year and half to two years before i stopped, so hope im good.

Well it is really difficult to stop smoking but you did it. Yes now you do not need to worry about it.
