Jobs and or Internships for a Medical Marijuana Gorw

First off I would like to say hello to everyone that is part of this site. I have found a lot of the information here extremely helpful, and now I am looking for more advice.

I am in San Diego county and want to start learning how to expand a grow operation. I started growing about a year ago and have had some success but I want to get better. Currently I just have a closet grow with 3 headband plants, but I want to grow more and more. Growing is become my passion. Eventually, I would like to have a mainstream operation that supplies many dispensaries around the county and California. I know this will take a lot of time and I don't expect it to happen overnight. However, I currently only have my own experience to go off of so I would like a lot of advice.

What I am looking for is possibly a mentor that lives in the area that could give me some advice. It would be really cool if I could get an internship or even a part time job somewhere, so that I can learn first hand what is involved in a bigger grow operation and increase my skills over time. I know most growers are up tight with all the laws and crap, but I am just another person that wants to help the mission of medical marijuana move forward and would really appreciate a good opportunity.

So please if anyone has some general advice on the topic or would be interested in helping me move up towards my goal that would be awesome. I hope to get to know more and more people on this site and hope that the goal of medical marijuana can be further achieved by all of our efforts.

I wish I was in your shoe's. I had a chance to go to Cali and be mentored by Zandor but as you can see from my name I missed the boat. all the probby and bad stuff has long past but still made me miss it.
I would say co-op's to find what you are looking for. Make good lasting friends to get you there.

aww yeah that's a bummer. Hopefully you have found something else that you are passionate about to do in the meantime.

My next step step is to get involved with co-op's. I hope that there I can meet some good people. And this site is great for getting info but there is just something about having someone helping you along to give you that final push to make it a reality you know.
