Epson salt and proxide both in small amounts work but you don't need them all the time. In fact if you used them all the time you would have trouble. I assume you can't order deliveries online so I don't really know how to help you. You may have better luck with a one part veg and one part bloom mix from Advanced. Can you get Advanced Nutrients Barricade that's clost to the same thing as Cal-Mag Plus
Other additives that you regulary use and really help grow better quality buds is fulivic Acid, B-1 boost, either advanced Piranha or their Trantula brand of microorgansms products for root zones development.

im in the uk, i have also bought some of that advanced nutrient barricade you suggested. havnt used it yet tho. shud i be using cal mag with all my water? im having trouble with all my plants in rockwool, they just all seem very dull after a few days, and not healthy. im gonna keep things simple for my next lot and only soak my rockwool in 2ml of formulex per litre. i take it i shudnt feed them after that for the first 2 weeks? btw, that barricade is some sort of silicon isnt it? thanks zandor

Yes it is, they say it will increase the cell wall stability and internal functions. It's a little different then Cal-Mag.
