I like to use a 30X jewelers loop, looking at an area of tricomes. Many of your trics looked a little clearish to me, you may have a couple weeks depending on conditions. I like to see a few more than 5% amber, but I like more cbns and cbcs with a rich serving of thc. By the way do you have a good digital camera? If you do and many of the cheaper ones also have a Macro setting use it and when you zoom up it can yield great picts.

Dutch points out a good trick there about the guard leves that surround the bud, pluck it off lay it out and it's easy to get a better picture or view, and you should be able to see an array of trics in the image.

Dutch, Pain:
To give ya an idea as to the size of the colitas @ the top level, they are as big or bigger than 20 oz coca cola bottles & just as much circumference. Didn't have a bottle to give frame of reference. Here are a few of the top flowers & I think if ya zoom in we could see the colors. Appears close to 75% but still think there's a final push?

Plants growing outdoors kinda has their own rules....(depending on location)
about all you can do is watch the trichs & the calendar

I see enough amber that I would be cutting it.

75% Amber, I'd harvest asap! I was fortunate to get to see some, almost identical outdoor grown plants, very similar to yours, a few days ago.
They are ready for harvest, depending on what you are looking for. Have you taken a sample, yet? Best way to know!
Only push you are going to see, is Spring, imo. Don't wait too long, it will create more problems. pr

Cool Beans!
Will cut a few flowers down from the top. Thanks for your input. As always knowledge is king! Btw, gave her a small dose of nutes this a.m. so will do this tomorrow! It will not have a funky taste secondary to a light feed..... ???

:thumbsup:Estaban1, you may want to flush/rinse, before you harvest. What effect did you get? Usually, outside, the trichomes, seem to darken at a slower pace than indoors. Take your time, but don't wait too long. Or you'll start making undesirable seeds. Smoke Report, Please? pr

Took down like 20 flowers with like another 40 to go... Here is a better shot of what's drying. Truly hope that it doesn't taste harsh!?
