Still haven't gotten drug test results back yet

So I was wanting to ask a question and this looked like a perfect place to ask. I've been looking for a job for a while to help pay for some things, and I finally got somebody to call me up. I went in for an interview, and everything was going fine. They told me that they were going to give me a form after my interview, and I have 24 or 48 hours (couldn't remember which one) to take a drug test. Thinking nothing of it, I left the place and went ahead and did it that day. Once I was finished with my piss test, I asked the person how long it took until the results came back, and she told me about 12 to 72 hours. By the way, this was through Quest. It wasn't until after I left that I realized that I had smoked. I use to smoke every now and then a while back, but I suddenly stopped because I simply wanted to try it. Anyways, I was with some friends on the night of August 15th, and we were all completely wasted, so I decided to smoke with my friend. Keep in mind, this was only my second time doing it this year, and I took maybe 2 or 3 hits that I could remember, it may have been more. I took the test on September 5th, which was exactly three weeks. Do you think they will pick it up in my system? My friends all say that I'm fine and I shouldn't worry because it only takes 2 weeks, but one friend said that I'm screwed and that the tests can pick up the weed in your system as far back as a month, and that's when I started freaking out. I need other professional opinions on this, because it is now Tuesday and I still haven't heard anything...

P.S. I called them Monday and played dumb asking them when I start my training, and they told me they still haven't received my drug test results yet.

I'm not particularly attentive this time of night but I'm failing to decipher the time your last use until time of test (3 weeks?)? If low (infrequent use) you should be clear. THC/A is very dependent on frequency of use. Unlikely to be present in urine beyond 10 days excepting heavy regular use..

Yeah, when I took the drug test, it was exactly three weeks since I last smoked. I use to smoke about 2 years ago. It wasn't a frequent thing, but I did it like every week for about 2 months, so maybe like a total of 8 or 9 times. After that, I suddenly stopped because I simply just wanted to try it. Now it has only been my second time smoking this year, so I thought I would be fine. It has been really bothering me that it's been a week since I took my drug test and I haven't heard about my results though. The idea that they found something in my piss within this time frame has been bugging me for a while.

So do you think I am alright? It's taking them forever to get the results back. I heard the longer it takes, the better chance I have of it being negative, but I am really nervous about it because it's been taking a week and still nothing... What are your thoughts?

Dude,you gotta tell us if you passed or not,and I think you're on cause you wouldn't be there if you didn't pass.most labs give a 2 or 3 day result guarantee from the time they send it off.and your company cant allow a liability to work for their bussness.its a breach in the policy.
