So for the past 3 months I had refrained from smoking for the most part because I was looking for a job. About 2 weeks ago I gave up on the job search and smoked like 3-4 times within a few days. Then (surprise!) I got a call back from a company that I had been trying to get into for a long time. I had the interview today and they want me to start as soon as possible, except they want me to take a hair test first. The test needs to be taken either Thursday or Friday. I went straight to my city's two most reputable headshops and got the best detox shampoo from each. One is called Zydot, the other is called All Clear. The guy that sold me the Zydot just said it's the most well-known but was unable to tell me how to use it or how effective it is. The guy that sold me the All Clear said that he's had at least 8 or 9 customers come back in to tell him that it worked. I was just wondering if anyone could testify for or against either of these products, or if I should be expecting to fail this test regardless of what product I use. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not familiar with the ingredients of either product you mention but am very experienced in hair drug testing (HDT) and can assure you that you should not be expecting to fail. Light cannabis users are seldom detected with HDT. That is because the metabolite tested for (THC-COOH) has a very low (and slow) incorporation into hair. That means that the metabolite only rises above the level of detection following frequent use. Hair is a very poor medium for detecting cannabis metabolites.
