are the frst set of leaves of a baby eventually supposed to die?

im about 2 weeks in to the grow and the one of the original leaves(you know the rounded ones) is starting to yellow its just a small little yellow mark but i want to make sure its nothing serious. the other leaves are all fine. thanks

Its fine if the first set dies off. Just make sure they arent to close to light and are getting plenty of water

Those are cotyledons and that's just what they are supposed to do. :cool:

They are the stored energy that is used to produce the first set of true leaves.
When they shrivel up, (and they will), it means that your seedling is now a young-ling and you can begin to give it nutrients.
Start with 1/4 strength or even less.
Different strains have different needs.
