I'm just wondering, paranoia and what not, has anyone had an experience with subbing by putting a shampoo bottle inside their hoo-hah where the temp wasn't high enough??
I realize this may be a dumb question, because logistics say that if the bottle is inside the body, sample temp would be about the same as body temp. I'm just wondering.
If I put the clean sample into the bottle while it's still "hot'n'fresh" then immediately stuff it up there, will it retain the correct temp EVERY TIME? Or can I eff this up?? I'm one of those people who subscribe to Murphy's Law, anything that can go wrong, will. So it would be great to know that temp was something I didn't have to worry about.
I'm currently practicing with hot water, but just realized that I don't have a thermometer. So I'm still making sure it won't leak, but have no way to check the temp at the end of my experiment. It's going to have to stay "in there" for 2 to 2 1/2 hours to allow for travel and wait time, if that matters.
Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated. Test date: definitely Aug 16 with (I just found out) a possibility of one Aug 7, so I need to be prepared kinda quick-like. :)
