Okay so about 5 days ago my seedlings sprouted, I put them
directly into a 6" plastic pot, and they began to grow.

Im using MG soil, aswell as the fox farm trio nutes,
and for lighting I have two 2foot T-7's (17watt each). Im not
sure if I should upgrade my lights or what let me kno, ive had them
on an 18/6 lighting schedule so far, I've only watered twice,
Once when I planted them in the pots and another with the grow big nute
solution.
Any advice out questions please let me kno as this is my first grow:pimp:.
Ill put up pictures in a minute.

You don't need any nutes for a while, bro. It's too strong for the little ones

Figures, I would of fucked upd already, I was just going by the fox farm soil feeding schedule and it said to water with grow big as seedling/cuttings.. They both look healthy as for the slight curl of the 2 smooth leaves that first appear, the other one lost one of these leaves due to the J seedling other than that havent wattered them in about 4 days next watering will be soon with just pure water.

That feeding schedule is based on using unferted soil. You are using soil which contains fertiliser. Don't blame the feeding schedule, it did nothing wrong.

I would feed them if you want big healthy plants quick. You will see people not feeding and showing off a 2" plant thats 8 weeks old. feed them correclty and they will be 5' in a month. you will never hurt a plant with soil compounds.

I grew this strain for several years and the one thing I noticed was that it did NOT like a lot of nutes. I had to use about half the amount of nutes that I used on my other strains. Also feeding plants nutes as young as yours is not good practice either. If you want to try an experiment, just take one of your plants and feed it and let the others use what is in the soil and see what happens. I usually don't add nutes for at least 6 or 8 weeks of growth as the soil contains all of what they need up until that point.
I got really good volume out of Nirvanas WW and in that respect it was a very good strain. The only reason I quit growing it was that I found other strains that I liked the smoke from better.

I would think its more a case of you doing something wrong or being misinformed. ALL plants like nutes, its whats for dinner. I couldn't imagine vegging for 6-8 weeks either.

As I said there is alot of misinformation out there. I would guess this person doesn't really have any great experience or a degree for UC Davis to back him.

Put 1 clone in the soil and do what you like. The other add 300ml of nutes, correctly mixed, 2x a day in a 3 gallon bucket of the same soil. Tell me then what you think.

If you are unsure how to mix them, tell me the nutes you plan to use and Ill tell you how to bring them up correctly too..

If you look on a grow schedule most times its 2 weeks of grow and then flower.

I find it very interesting that people honestly think that only a bit of water is all thats needed. Well let me say this, I am surprised that people do not want the best possible, highest quality yield. Sure, Ill give you that it will grow. Very slow, but it will grow.

The 1st week of a new clone or seedlings life it has a purpose and needs. weeks 1 and 3 are very important weeks for root development. Most schedules will include root products in varous forms from bacteria to hormones. I could go on and on why you would feed from day 1.

The common problem is correct watering in most cases or no knowledge of the makeup of the water and/or how to mix fertilizer correctly.

Lets looks at this chart and see if weeks 1-4 include only a little water in the soil.

Hope this helps.

miracle by itself with no nutes burned the shit outta one of my little plants and another strain took it no problem. Miracle grow has timed release capsule nutes so if you start mixing shit in with that it's gonna burn your plants. WW is a bomb ass strain though, good luck.

Seriously don't listen to this. Every strain is different. For instance, OG kush loves nutes. Probably can't give it enough. But try SSH and see if she likes the same schedule. Dude, do u even really grow?

Word lol see so many people saying different things but i understand what you mean exactly, im only on day 10 as of tonight, still on an 18/6 lighting, fan blowing nonstop.. so in your opinion is it safe for me to water with nutes according to the fox farm schedule every other watering (not the full strength im gonna do 1/2) and hopefully they will be some nice healthy plants? or shout i skip out on the nutes for the 3 week veg period? not 100% sure.

SSH= Super silver haze?

ok, man, wow. So not only does this plant love to be fed as any would, it also has 2 very cool qualities. 1 is its resistance to garden pests, and 2 is its resistance to fungus infections. This plant also loves any hydroponic setup you throw at it.

I do believe I've posted my grow monthly, with pics. Please point out any problem I can correct.

My family has 30 parcels from 5 to 10000 acres of farms that I grew up on.

I enjoy growing all types of things and have made a living from it(not growing cannabis). You will never be able to show me a benefit of not feeding a plant as it grows. There is no magic as humans have farmed a long long time. Its a military style cycle of actions. All the correct information is out there.

Cannabis is not spore grown and delicate like a orchid, not even close. Its rugged, easily to clone and adaptive. You can splice it easily and make your own cross breeds. It is indeed fun to grow.

On a side note a fellow at the local cannabis club explained to me how hard it is to grow og kush. I giggled and said none of my opinions in this matter. I think you and I hold the same one.

Outside of that I will agree to disagree with you on the matter of feeding this young plant.
