parents and cops...

I've been caught three times now and my parents threaten to call the cops if they catch me one more time. What can they have the cops do? I mean unless they bust me with possesion or a cop catch me red handed nothing can happen right?For the three times ive been caught 2 of those times i really tried havn a serious convo and telln them the facts about weed but they jus dont understand. Even tho my dad did drugs in highschool.BTW im 15 yrs old.

just curious so if ne1 was in this situation speak up.

Unless you're high, positive on a drug test, in possesion of paraphinilia or weed, you're fine. Any of those you can get screwed on, cept for maybe the drug test. But then that can lead to your parents putting you on probation, which means alot more trouble.

cops dont give a shit unless they think you deal or maybe if you parents tell them you have a large amount of weed. really you think the cops are gonna wanna do the paper work over a kid geting busted smoking weed. also they have no prof and what could they do????? nothing! im alos 15 1/2 right now we dont have to wory bout the 5-0 we are minors wory bout your parents

unfortunatly, many cops do care about small amounts. i am on probation for haveing a gram on me when i got pulled over! and if your parents do call the cops, they can take you to juvinial(sp) hall if your parents say they want you out of their house.

Believe it or not my mom called the cops on me when i was like 16 because i had some really dank buds in my safe, and they were so dank that she could smell it when she went in my room. So she took my safe out and when i came home from school looking for my weed to smoke with some buddies of mine i found she'd taken it and i refused to open it, so she called the cops on me and they came and made me open it, and took my stash. Pretty gay huh?

not that it matters to the cops you might try explaining to your parents that every one has the potentail to get over an addiction but no one ever gets over a conviction that record stays with you forever so if your parent feel your smoking activitys are cause for destroying your chances of getting a good job in the future tell them to go ahead and call personaly id just be more careful and just start saving up some $ and get the hell out of their house as soon as possable

You think the cops wanna do ANY of the fucking paper work they get? -laughs- Hell, doing the paper work for some 15 year old dork who didn't think it could ever happen to him is probably alot easier then doing the paper work for a real criminal.

Besides, they don't have a choice really. They have to come out and investigate whenever a report is called in, even pranks.

The cops if you dont have anything on you will just break your balls. I suggest you live by your parents rules though. You may not like it but it's their house. Just smoke away from your home and hide your shit better.

If your parents would actually call the cops on you for smoking pot, then they don't deserve the pleasure of having you as their child. I'd say move out, but since you're 15 you can't really just do that. I'd suggest that you hide it from them, it gets easier if you get your own car, until you can move on and start your own life. If your parents are too ignorant and stubborn to understand and accept your lifestyle then you are under no moral obligation to accept theirs. I moved out when I was 17 for the same reason and didn't speak with my parents for a full year, but since they realize they messed up and have apologized to me countless times and are trying to repair our relationship.
