Hi all,

I didn't have room for all my seedlings in my flowering space, but rather than kill the remaining one I decided to leave it in the greenhouse to do its thing. It's been vegging for some considerable time now and has got to about 4ft tall with a big thick stem. I'm a bit concerned about this because it's getting to the point where I couldn't fit it into my flowering area (especially with anticipated further growth), and is even becoming rather conspicuous to onlookers due to size.

Any recommendations for what I can do to best curb its growth?

Thanks

Prune it or tie some branches back

Most of the pruning tips I've seen is about making the plant more bushy, rather than reducing the size of the plant. Are there any tips for safely reducing plant size?

What would happen if I just took the top 8 inches off it, at a joint? Would it die?

I had a mother getting too tall in a closet, so I just cut the whole top off. It bounced back no problem
