Outdoor watering......AM or PM?

When is the best time to water outdoor plants? Early in the AM or in the PM? And why?

Larry! Big problem for some grows "watering in p.m." is Mold/Fungus/attracting night marauders! Would water/feed them in a.m., and then again-mid/later afternoon.Mike

Makes sense to me! I know here in the desert, it gets real hot. Some days, I water twice.

I water my outdoors in the am also try and not to water them when the sun is beaming on them really hot u can burn ur plant.
