Hello folks. I've lurked here for a long time. Have used the dilution method for the 4 years of my probation I have completed so far and it has always worked... Sadly I failed my last drug test a month ago. It was my own damned fault as I got to comfortable with smoking up until very shortly before the test. Make sure you give yourself a little time off of smoking. I've smoked the day before in the past and passed but I believe the big problem was I smoked some serious dank the day before...

Well its been 14 days since my last toke so lets see if this helps. Can't wait till I'm done so I can light one up!

Anyways I just wanna let reassure anyone who is using the dilution method that it is very reliable (as long as you dont get stupid and start gambling with it for the hell of it).

Anyways. Figure I might let yall in on some of the repercussions of failing a piss test I am facing in my county... An evaluation with a psychiatrist to determine if I am likely to be drug dependent... $40 and pretty lame, just a multiple choice sheet... Secondly I have to take a class 4 Mondays in a row. Lastly I have a new probation officer who I get to meet in an hour. If I fail again I have to go before the judge. I do not plan on failing again!

I've used dilution for the Army, Wal-Mart and probation. It is a great tool for those who are opposed to being told how to live their lives and want to continue what they enjoy.

One day maybe we'll be able to make our own personal choices here in America with out such stupid repercussions... and maybe well have flying horses as well. lol.

Not worth indulging in smoke when you're on probation. Not worth the risk of the judge recinding your probation and making you do hard time instead. Some states if you have a medical cannabis authorization you can pop positive on a drug test and be fine. Thats the only way I would ever consider smoking during probation.

Since you have been on probation for quite a while I have a quick question?

I met my probation officer on Nov 6, this was my intake test and I had to take a UA, I was arrested for an alcohol offense so I knew I was to stay off drinking but I had been smoking a lot. After this intake meeting I thought a lot about what I was doing and 14 days before my next meeting with my PO i stopped smoking cause I planned on quitting until my probation was over in a year.

At my next meeting (dec.4) I was told that in my intake UA she found THC and that I was to now be taking UA's twice a month to test the levels of THC in my system. The day after this was started I was brought in for a UA, I went home after the UA and took a "at home" drug test and failed. I am really scared because I do plan to quit but they tested me right after I became aware of these bi-monthly UA's.

What in your opinion will happen with me? Does she just test to see that I am quitting and that the THC levels are going down gradually over time? Or will she violate me cause i'm not supposed to be smoking at all?
I plan on quitting and I have not smoked since the 5th of Dec, I realize that my freedom is more valuable than anything.

Thanks,

It varies from probation department to probation department, so theres no telling. If you have a P/O who will have your levels tested (which would require a GC/MS to give quantitative values - not exactly a low-cost endeavor), consider yourself fortunate. Some P/O's will opt for a cheapie assay screen only (which is a pass/fail endeavor and thus will not give a quantitative value) to keep costs down. So if you test positive on the assay, that can mean the revocation of your probation and jail time.
