IM HAVING TUBAL LIGATION SURGERY IN5 DAYS WHEN SHOULD I QUIT?

OK SO IN SCHEDULED TO HAVE SURGERY IN 5 DAYS AND I WAS WONDERING IF THE TEST U FOR DRUGS WHEN THEY DO YOUR PREOP BLOOD WORK AND ALSO IF I DONT SMOKE WEED FOR THE NEXT 5 DAYS IF I WILL HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE ANASTESIA? IN REALLY WORRIED I MIGHT DIE OR SOMETHING AND MY FAMILY DOES.NT KNOW I SMOKE SO I DONT WANT TO TELL THEM. I JUST STARTED BACK I S,OKED 1 JOINT A DAY FOR THE LAST 5 DAYS!! PLEASE HELP!!!

Its really up to the hospital. I would call them and ask them what their policy is on surgery and cannabis use.

drug testing isn't cheap and it's not medically necessary for that type of surgery, so i wouldn't worry about it.

i have a family member who has smoked right up until the day of surgery and has never had a problem with anesthesia - so i wouldn't worry too much about that either. anytime they put you completely out, you run a number of risks, but i don't think that weed would make them any worse. of course, i'm not a doctor.

by the way, i had that surgery done after i decided not to have any more children. most people have it done immediately after having a child. i'm guessing you're not pregnant? i'm not sure if i'm allowed to share my experiene here or not since it's not technically cannabis related, but you can expect one really bad day almost like you're in labor as your body tries to repair itself, then you're good - or at least not in any pain to mention.
