Hempstone

A few months ago, I saw a video on YouTube where someone asked Mitt Romney if he believed that farmers should be able to grow Industrial Hemp. Mitt replied that he did not know what hemp is and had never heard of it before. So yesterday, I went to the Cornwall Iron Furnace and hand delivered my book, Hempstone Heritage to him, a book about the history of the hemp industry in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He can now no longer say that he has never heard about hemp. Here is a video of Mitt Romney shaking my hand and taking my book from me while I TRY to ask him to support the Hemp Amendment to the Farm Bill co-sponsored by Rand Paul... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Kayjqywg4w
The music was actually so loud you could barely hear your voice in front of your face. If you pause the video at the 1:17 mark you see me shaking hands with the Mitts. Pause again at 1:22 and you see him holding my book and the secret service peering at me, haha. I knew it was going to be rough communicating with him though. You could barely hear and he had no intentions of stopping to listen. I got slightly tongue tied out of exasperation and my words did not come out perfectly. Right at the 1:45 mark the secret service tells me, "Sir he can't stop for questions" so I yell out to him to support the hemp amendment to the Farm Bill. He looks at me and says, "Thank you so much!" HA! Oh well, did the best I could.:rasta:
