I have 3 plants growing in soil from bagseed about 6 weeks into flowering. It is my first grow. Used a 3 part nute system from XNutrients and molasses for flowering. Flushed once, a week into 12/12. Im running two 150w hps lamps and five 2400k CFLs on the sides (three 42w and two 55w). pH is around 6. The buds look healthy with nice trichs but on 2 of them the main colas have stems growing up out the top with little budding. Leaves at t0he top are wide and far apart along the stem. Wondering if anyone knows what this is all about. Thanks![attachment=o285169][attachment=o285170][attachment=o285171][attachment=o285172]

Maybe try to hang a couple of the CFL right beside the stretching colas.
This might stop any stretching. Worth a try anyway.
I made some DIY reflectors for hanging CFLs. I posted it on here. I think they will hep intensify your light.

Thanks for the advise. Moved all 5 of my cfls to the tops of the plants. hopefully they start to fill out like the bottom buds have.

I wouldnt neglect the bottoms of the plants...
The bottom branches will soon be on the stretch too. Just put one CFL right beside each top cola... Don't bring all of them up. You are looking for balance regarding light spread.
Even things out a bit better. The one CFL at the top should be ok.

Don't understand why these colas keep stretching! Just started flushing and hopefully they start to fill out a little bit in the next two weeks..Bottom buds are looking beautiful. Any ideas on what else could be causing these colas to stretch so much at the tops? Plants too close together? New photos posted on here. Any advise is greatly appreciated. Hey dude.
So I guess moving the light closer didn't stop the stretch ?
Hmm, how do your buds feel to touch them ? After 6 weeks of bloom I would think they should look a bit denser.. hmmm
More light would be the way I would go and keep the lights as close as possible. But this didn't seem to work. Maybe try grouping the plants together a little tighter.
They look very spaced out by the pics.
I don't know dude. Can you give us closer pics of the rest of the buds. In as normal white light as possible.
Hope things turn around soon for you.
