Hi all,

I've got a few plants growing on the sly under CFL, but the problem is they've been on 12:12 for a couple of weeks now and they look pretty much exactly like they did in full veg mode. They seem to be healthy as horses - in face a couple are nearing 3ft which is a bit of a worry as I don't have that much more height to spare. Should I be doing something else other than simply having them on 12:12? They get no light at all during the dark period.

Thanks

Have you actually seen female preflowers?
Maybe give them another week. Then check them over real good for male parts.
As far as height goes.....they can grow 2/3 their size during flower.....Might have to tie them down or find a taller room.
Peace and Good Luck.....J

Yeah I'm looking for those little whispy white hairs. So far it's pretty much just greenery.

2/3 increase would be almost 5ft tall! What does tying down involve?

when they start to flower the parts where the bud grows stop making nodes and they look light green. Then long preflowers start to come out. theres videos called lst all over youtube that will show you how to tie them down. Be careful though not to break the branches .

I have some preflowers that look a bit like this http://forums.cannabisculture.com/forums/uploads/1076157-fatpistil.jpg

Trouble is it seems like it's been the same (small) amount for weeks now.
