This is my second grow and am still and will always be learning. I had two white widow plants vegged for 6 weeks and put the strongest of the two into flower. I then researched cloning and thought it best to clone the stronger of the two plants. I cut 3 clones from the lowest part of the plant at 4 weeks of flowering. After all the research ie cutting under water and using the best solution money can buy the clones are now 2 weeks old and all took off unbelievably fast. I have a few questions...

What are the chances of me being able to turn one of these clones into a mother plant?
New growth on these clones which are now 8" tall still have trichomes being produced so should i have cut the flowers off on cloning?
When and where on the plant is best to top these clones as i have alternating nodes?

Hoping to get good news

What are the chances of me being able to turn one of these clones into a mother plant? Very high. Just keep the light on the right time for veg and youll be good to go.

New growth on these clones which are now 8" tall still have trichomes being produced so should i have cut the flowers off on cloning? They Look fine to me. Since you took them from a flowering plant, they are having to revert back to the veg stage. Thats why they look the way they do. 1 finger leaves. Keep your light on time 16 or more hours and youll be good to go.

When and where on the plant is best to top these clones as i have alternating nodes? This part really doesnt matter too much. Just cut the top off. In between the nodes at the top of the plant.
