You can do it without all the nutrients. That is, if you won't mind getting seriously less yield, and quality. For yourself, I'd look into fluorescents or small HID's.
PS. I think next time you can search.

Since when are nutrients not natural? That would be like wanting to eat food without nutrients. You could always just throw some bag seed in a pot and set it in the corner and prey or then again research, study and do it right.

the plants will be fine for the first few weeks. after that they will of used up all the nutrients in the soil so you'll need to replace these. natural you want natural use organic nutrients. either way to get the best out of it and not waste your time using nutrients would be the best bet. as for lights i started my first grow about 3 months ago, i started with just one 125w(625W equivalent) 6400k/8000 lumens. now all the plants are well into flower and under 2 125w/2700k and 1 125w/6400k. seem's to working well.

No i just meant just water and light like you could do with some other plants and what would happen in nature since there's no one to give them nutrients then. Ok thanks:)

Ok thanks for the advice ..Ya il probably use the organic stuff.. Grand i'l probably go down that kinda path with lights sound:D One question though..there would only be 1 or maybe 3 plants at most so would it be the same do you know?I should look it up but i rather getting advice from people who have experience with it so i could ask them if im unsure about something..Thanks:D

Hey man, check out my posts here in the forum, im not using any nutrient and no light at all, just water and sun when ever its there, oh and i recently added egg shell to the soil, think that helped my little baby, as she grew after quite "big" (not gigantic big, but decent enough from what she were), but as other said, dont expect a big yield, at first i expected to get at least 1gramm, it seems now ill be getting minimum 5gramms and im totally happy considering im not using any nutrient or special light.. Anyways good luck with your grow, just remeber, do not over-water her

Hey, welcome to the site.

You can check out my grow logs in my signature. The 1st grow journal is complete and you should find just about every answer you need in there regarding everything from lights, nutes, soil, ventilation, odour elimination etc etc. Each week of the grow is documented from seed to harvest. I also use all organic ferts. No nasty chemicals for me...

Hope this helps, it was designed to help.

Take care

HDme420: In nature nutrients are constantly added when water runs on the surface of the soil and percolates into the upper horizons of soil. In the grow room you have a closed system and have to add nutrients as they are depleted.

oh she grew quite abit even after the last pictures taken, specially buds, they formed in to one big bud, will make a final picture when ill cut it and trim, i think we talking about 10gramms from one low rider without any light or nutrient, not too bad i say

Nutrients are well erm nutrients or part of the food requirement for plants without them they will not grow properly, the plant will feed off its own leaves get all sorts of nutrient deficiencies then I would think it would wither probably and die, although having never tried I could not tell you the exact prognosis, but common sense tells me this probably what would happen.

Sorry mate but i disagre, my plant grows quite well, not huge or big yielded but im not complaining at all, and not only she not died, she created some IMO pretty good buds, will give her another week or two, then its cutting drying curing time :)

Did you grow them in soil if so then likelihood is that there was enough nutrients within it to keep the plant sustained, but try growing 4 or 5 crops in that same soil then you are going to see the problems start to arise, hence crop rotation and fertilization in agriculture, try growing in hydro and pure RO water and seeing what happens, like I say I have never tried this experiment before but I cannot imagine it ending well:(

All I can say is if you are going to take the time and effort to grow then I would definitely advise you to use nutrients, you can also get clearing solutions which you use a week or two before the end of the cycle to flush out all the nutes. A good flush improves the taste and smell of the final product believe me you will end up with a far superior product and higher yielding product than if you go the no nute root
