I would suggest splitting the room in 2 and making 2 3'x4' rooms one for veg and one for bloom and just do a perpetual grow of 2 or 3 plants so that you have a steady supply.

Hey Cheech,
I was in a similar spot. I spent 15 years in the ME (Lebanon, Syria, West Bank, Gaza plus a few stints in the gulf) but I've been home since 2006. I still go back regularly but my work is now is for personal gain. When I first returned I had all kinds of anxiety and anger management issues. I couldn't sleep, my relationships with family were stressed out, all I really wanted to do was go back (at first). I've been a toker since my youth but finally I had a good reason to medicate. It made a huge difference for me.
My room is 5'W x 9'L x 6'H. I have it divided in two which gives me a small area for veg, some space to move about, and flower area that is 5'x4'. I scrog which limits plant count. I usually have 3 going at any one time. I'm thinking to do away with the scrog for next few grows just to see what can be done without the screen. I think I'll be able to get anywhere from 4 - 6 plants depending on the size. I light them in flower with a 400w CMH bulb. Works a charm.
Just do your homework. It ain't rocket science. Just look around at some of the dimwits who manage to grow and you'll feel much more confident.
Good luck!
