Hi Guys I thought I would document yet another grow. This should give results at around about THANKSGIVING. How ironic. The other was from some decent bag seed That I sexed for 2 weeks then reveged her . I took clones and this one was the healthiest. The mother was evicted and is living in the great wilderness. What you are seeing is her clone. I Dub her the Little princess. As Most growers know each strain has it's own personality. Since I do not know this strain I will give her a name and get to know my new mom. She is Hydroponic almost and 3 weeks off the mother. She was rooted under the bio-dome for 11 days in a soil puck then moved to a hydroponics set up when she showed roots. She has been in the hydroponics set up now or 7 days I am using General Hydroponics and I am following their recommendations for the mix. I have her in a 5 gallon bucket with a self made water pot in washed lava rock. This is a Picture of her 7 days ago.285020

One week in her new hydroponic setup.
PPM 1093
Air Temp 80 F
Water pH 7.4 ........ Used pH down . PH. Now 6.5
She is very compact and bushy I will keep her this way for another 2 weeks then stretch her for clones. The CFL Light bank is about 4 inches off her top 285021

Now here she is 285022 and 285023

She seems to be using about 97 PPM in a 24 hour period.

PPM ...AM 995
PPM ... PM 983
Using slightly more Nutes. 110 PPM in today's 24 hour block.
Air temp 84
Ph 7.5
PH'd down to 6.5 Having trouble holding PH. Probably Algae
I will cover areas where water is exposed to light. Leaves folding in on themselves as if praying, Turned on room fan.
Looking very bushy. Clipped 3 branches to give me new nodes and topped her.
There is a noticeable growth in 12 hours.
I will likely clip her again before I send her in to fill her purpose in life.I will keep her short and bushy as long as I can.
Trying for as many nodes as possible. as close together as possible.

6-13-12.

PPM ...AM-931
PPM...PM 1036
Room Temp 84F
PH 7.5
Gave 2 TSP PH Down
PH now 6.0
Covered parts that exposed water to light in attempt to kill algae last night .
PPM rise could be the result of adding more PH DOWN or dead algae.
A few fan leaves are showing a bit of yellowing. Second 5 Gallon bucket started
With 5 gallons of very hot water and and a running air hose . Hot Water holds less Oxygen then cold water so as the water cools it pulls the Oxygen from the pump into it making it super enriched.
I will add nutes in 24 hours then transfer the basket into the new bucket.
leaves no longer folded in and lay flat to the light above.
New growth noticed under the fan leaves. Three fan leaves cut to allow light to new growth.
CFL still about 5 inches from her top.

ppm ... 1332

Lots of new growth. However new growth is stunted and leaves are curling under.
DOes anyone know what the root cause may be?

thats a nice plant u have growing! its a clone right? and is there something u did to make it short and bushy, or did it just naturally grow that way?

She is a clone. The light is a 23 Watt CFL that is kept about 5 inches off the top.

6-26-12

It has been about 2 weeks since I wrote last.
PH 5.4
Air temp 76F
PPM 1125

As you can see from the photo she is very squat and in about two weeks should provide me with several babies.
She has 2 heads on the outside which are the bigger ones and four on the inside that are finally taking shape.
on 6-28-12 I will change her water and feed. I will start her first feeding of aggressive mix as recommended by
General Hydroponics. I was having problems with algae so I took some black burlap and covered the stones and
tossed a few on top of the burlap to hold it in place algae solved. PH now stable.

I started her on her first Regimen of Aggressive growth as recommended by GH. She started to yellow yesterday so i sprayed her leaves for her to stretch out her change cycle.
Base water PPM ....400
PH 5.6
New PPM 1804
Watching closely for neut burn.
Have to go away for 7 days
Taking wife to see her mom before she dies of cancer.
Her neuts were not lasting a complete week. I noticed her roots have not come out of the basket yet.
She is in a 5 gallon bucket so there is a lot of DEAD Space she cant reach so I will be hooking up a water pump without a hose to stir the bottom up for 1/2 hour twice a day.
I hope this will extend her neut change.
When I get back I will make her a mom and post before and after pics.
I had her under a 100 watt MH and the power went off for a second this morning and the MH never came back on. So I put her under a CFL bank so the lights will come on in case of a power outage.
This is all I can offer her. I will raise the CFL light bank off her top to about 18" to make her stretch for some nice babies when I get home. I am sure if she were in soil like her mom she would not make it without water.
I heat stress her a little and make her a little thirsty. daytime temps can reach 90F for an hour or two.
I will harvest at week 8 and on week 7 I will use no GH flora gro and instead use 2 Tablespoons of Molasses
and for week 8 I will use straight water. I plan on hitting her with a 400W HPS at week 4 or 5.

I am back. She survived.
Returning PPM...1980
Added 1.5 gallons water to rim of 5 gallon bucket.
New PPM... 1566
She drank a lot of water. The water table was at the bottom of her bucket.
This indicates she drank a lot of water. I was fortunate that she ate enough nutes as the water level dropped
I think this stabilized the PPM and she did not suffer neut toxicity.
The lava rocks are wet indicating that there is high humidity in the bucket
I took 4 babies and they are in my clonabator
You can see the roots just breaking the outside of the lava rocks.
As promised here are a few pics. Before, during and after.
