NEED HELP!!!!!!!!

OK I'm new to growing I have made attempts but have failed in the past years but this year im growing indoor and out door my outdoor plants are doing great but i have a few questions about the indoor lights right now I have this light G.E. Reflector Plant Light Bulb - 6 Pack - Specialty Light Bulbs - Ace Hardware and since it said plant light I assumed it would work but Idk I heard cfl is better and that's why I want to get this one Satco® Hi-Pro 105 Watt Commercial Spiral CFL Light Bulb with Mogul Base - CFL Light Bulbs - Ace Hardware Now before i Get it i need to know how many i need and if they will work to grow through vegetative and flowering right now i have two seedlings under 1 plant light thnx!!

How serious are you about growing indoors? How many plants you gonna grow? You doing a closet grow or a cabinet grow? All I can say is if you plan on growing more than one harvest and more than one plant then you are better off investing in a true HID setup. At least get yourself a T5 rig for a hundred bucks. I was told by a very wise indoor grower when I started these exact words:

" Your product will only be as good as the equipment and time you put into this."

Don't expect a 20 dollar setup to yield a bountiful medical grade harvest. I have decent equipment and it's still been a struggle with all the other variables that present themselves. IMO that bulb will NOT yield the results you are looking for and will most likely be a waste of time/money. That being said, if you need some ideas for low cost HID or t5 setups from me I would be more than happy to fill you in on the stuff I would most likely get.

im doing a cabinet grow and if you could give me links to what i should get and like stuff at walmart and im not too serious but i do not know what to get i just want a light that will support two plants through its whole life until harvest. that is affordable thnks.

Hello, I would go with a 250 to 400wt HPS/MH switchable electronic ballast and reflector. I think this will produce the best results for a 2 plant closet grow. Will cost you about 95 to 175$ complete light system. You can always find better deals on craigslist or e-bay. It will add anywhere from 75$ to 120 dollars at the high end to your electric bill but you will have nice dence buds and your yeilds would always be better than CFL"s when an oz grown under CFL's looks like a QP and is full of air...you will barely get that per plant using CFL's.Your hard time spent will be more frustrating at harvest if you wanted something that will last and have goo medicinal values. The size / power of the light you get will depend on a few factors.

1. How much space do you have? Small space = small light.
2. How many plants do you want to grow? Again, small space = few plants = smaller bulb.

From what you've told us I think a 250w bulb is where you are heading. If you have space and ventilation then bump up the 400w.

I would get the 250 watt ED18HPS, this will keep the bills down, and give you pretty nice harvests. Run a couple fans with it if you can fit them in. I think you will be surprised. Hope this helps, Happy growing!
