I germ'd about 2 weeks ago, took 3 days to germ, and less than a day to sprout, it was caught under the seed shell and caused one of the cotyledon to die because of this, and it had to rely on just one for about 3 days, it grew the next two marijuana leaf-looking leafs. Now a week since then, it has 6 noticable leaf sets coming in now, all with 3 leaves on each.
It is under a 125w CFL light, in Miracle Grow flower soil, and because of how close it is to the CFL i have to water it daily with a small amount of non-treated distilled water.
Now the CURRENT problems:
1: The plant is very short, it has grown many small leaves and sets but not up any, is this because of the strain?, is this common?, is it too close to the light (2" away)?, is it watered too much? Tell me what you think please.
2: The leafs on the newly forming leaf sets are browned on the edge like they have been getting too warm but i have a fan on it, and on the light itself. Please tell me what you think about this too.

How close is it to the CFL? It looks good, just unusual because of the node forming. It's a good thing that it's short and bushy, that helps when you're growing indoor.
What light cycle are you currently giving that plant?

Short and bushy is certainly a good thing for growing in doors. The browning on the edges may be cause by nutrient burn from your MG soil. MG has pretty aggressive fert in it that is hard for young/small plants to handle. I would consider transplanting into a different soil. I've been hearing a lot of good things about Fox Farms and Black Gold but am using cocoa fiber currently.
Best of luck to ya,

Its about 2 inches away, and on 24/0.

I don't think I will on this one, these are non fem seeds, so idk if its even a female, if it is ill transplant it into one of those when it outgrows the current pot it's in.

I'm planning to put it 16/8 on the 13th and 12/12 on the 20th.

I am following along b/c I have some SSH beans that I'm thinking to pop next round. This is a stavia dominant and will take 10 - 14 weeks to flower fully.
That plant looks stunted and burned. With the limited information given I suspect that the miracle grow and perhaps over watering are the issues. I like Fox Farm - it is just about fool proof. I suggest you get it into new soil as soon as possible. Allow 1 week after transplant for the plant to recover and being new growth. I am not sure what your grow knowledge is so I add this in case it helps. Let your plants dry out almost completely between watering. In veg mine go 4 - 6 days between watering, and 2 - 4 in flower. Lift the pot when it is dry and again when it is fully watered so that you know what a dry pot vs. watered pot feels like. This will help you better gauge their water uptake/needs.
Good luck and let us know how it goes!

It is quite a size now and i looked at it and i can pull the whole plant out via the stem without stressing it, it has fully rooted to the pot it is in.

Yeah i have more pics coming, it has several 5 leaf nodes already.

Pics from today, on new better camera:
The plant is doing great now, but it looks like a short indica plant to me.

Your leaves look very interesting. Almost seems like mutation. Other than a few leaves, it's looking great!
What colour temperature is your 125W CFL?

It could be a male plant, although this plant has been a bit of a hit and miss when it comes to the ordinary growing of a plant.

Its a 6000k daylight.

very possible, i dont know too much about these seeds, i got these from a dealer not a seedbank, so its basically like growing a badseed.

Definitely looks very odd, leaves have a weird texture. Are there any signs of sex yet?

yes, it has female preflowers, and its only been day 3 since i put it on 16/8 so it is very possible that this is an autoflowering strain. I'm now just curios as to what the hell this plant is, but i may just get some sour diesel clones and not even try to germ the rest of these seeds because this grow is proving to be a pain in the ass.

The scorched leaves continued with less watering and transplanted into fox farm, the leaves dont look at all like sativa or indica, the node forming is irregular, its just been a shot in the dark with this plant.
