I'm up for a test any day now. 30 days clean as of tomorrow, but I'm well over 200lbs and was smoking almost daily for nearly two years.

I just started showing an incredibly faint negative line as of this morning with my first daily void. I can get it more pronounced by drinking plenty of fluids. I've been loading up on creatine and have B Complex on standby. They are turning it a neon yellow and think I may go buy some B2s tomorrow.

Couple questions...would eating salty foods or drinking Gatorade help with gravity?

Also, my test strips are at 50ng and I'm afraid the lab may test at 20ng. Does Labcorp and Quest have a testing guideline or does the business employing them set the standard?

Subbing would be difficult. Would you chance it and test with dilution? If it were a brand new job, I probably wouldn't think twice, but I've been temping there for over a year and a position opened up out of the blue without much warning. If I end up testing dirty I'm probably not only not getting the job, but won't be able to temp anymore. I'm considering just saying I want to stay temping, though it sucks to lose the opportunity. I didn't think anything would open in my department for a long time.

I just started showing an incredibly faint negative line as of this morning with my first daily void. I can get it more pronounced by drinking plenty of fluids. This is nothing but a pure coincidence. Contrary to popular belief, fluid consumption has no bearing upon line intensity. Synthetic urine controls, as well as straight tap water (both of which contain no drug metabolites at all) can produce faint lines on an assay.

I'm in a very similar boat, so I'll be interested to see how it turns out for you. I weigh 220 and I'm 6'1". So, I've got a good amount of body fat and im sedentary at work most of the day. It has been 42 days for me. I was a daily smoker for at least 2 years, few times a week before that. I smoke mostly headies, but just a couple puffs after work and a bit more on the weekends. I've been testing daily first void with negative results, but I'm still nervous. So, I'm going to partially dilute. I've been creatine loading for 3 days now and the test is 2 days from now. Morning of I plan to take my vitamins (multivitamin, B complex, and B2), drink about 32 oz of water with fresh lemons squeezed into it, and then drink a large Gatorade throughout the day. May take a few Rolaids also. Good luck!

Well, I took my test Tuesday. I had taken 3 capsules of Creatine twice daily for a week before...probably missed a few doses, but none within the 2 days before. I drank water, and Gatorade throughout the day of the test and voided at least 6 times before my test in the late afternoon. I popped a B2 vitamin at 1pm. I last voided at 2:30, drank 1 larger Gatorade, 1 small Gatorade and a Diet Coke and tested shortly before 4.

I've got my fingers crossed but am feeling cautiously optimistic. I was getting a light negative with my first void for almost a week and was 38 days clean when I tested. I'm 5'7" and 280 and smoked daily, so I started out thinking I'd flunk for months. I'm concerned I may get called into retest for dilution so i'm still abstaining.

Went to Concentra. They're website says they offer results to employers within 48 hrs. They put my specimen in a machine and said results would be emailed to my employer in 10 minutes. My employer gives out literature saying to be available for retest for 7 days.

Anyone know how long it usually takes to be told you need to retest for dilution?

Not sure because I've never had to retest for dilution. I took my test last Thursday, so it's been a full week and I haven't heard anything. As they say: no news is good news :)

I drank about a gallon of liquids prior to the test, voided 8 times before taking it near 4pm. It was definitely diluted but I think the creatine (which I took the 5 days prior to the test), Tums, Gatorade and B-2 helped. I probably didn't even need to dilute as I was passing at home tests consistently, but its better to be safe. Hope you get no news or good news! I'm waiting to celebrate because I want to be sure, and I have part two of the physical next week.
