Hi everyone,
I've been reading here for a bit, great info btw and just took my test, I was a regular smoker, going thru 3.5 grams a week or a bit less usually. I curtailed consumption drastically starting 4/16 and had my last on 4/21. It has been exactly 30 days since I have touched the stuff. Even when I did partake, I have been regularly exercising 5-6 times a week (cardio, weightlifitng, basketball) to the point that it looks like I suffer from hyperhydrosis. And eating healthy etc.
I am 5'10 and since stopping I had increased the level of intensity in my exercise and keeping well hydrated (at the gym it looks like I'm drowning in my own sweat). I was weighing 185ish and now I'm down to 177 (I could probably stand to lose another 5lbs). I drink good amounts of water and gatorade/powerade and take a whole host of vitamins (B complex, Biotin, Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc and a Multi-vitamin).
I have passed 2 different home tests- first check and walgreens, but not on my first void of the day- I'm a bit of an insomniac and actually get up to pee like 2-3 times a night usually. So I'm not even sure the "first void" is my first of the day.
I exercised like a maniac last week and took the weekend off of physical exersion. This morning I had a regular breakfast- cereal, yogurt and fruit along with my trash bag of vitamins- 2 BIG glasses of water and also drank 2 20oz powerades before the test. ANd I urinated 4-5 times before the test. My urine sample was nice and yellow- assuming from the vitamins and sports drinks I consumed, and of course good temp as it was mine. THe test is performed by Qwest Diagnotics if that helps.
So in the professional opinion of the board what are my chances of passing for a pre-employment screen? I know there are too many factors to account for something accurate, just trying to ease my paranoia. WHat about gas chromatography/mass spectometry? Any response negative or positive will be helpful. Thanks in advance.
