Hi,

I transferred my plant to a bigger pot 4 days ago and also put bat guano and worm castings on top of my soil after re-potting. The brown just started about 3 or 4 days ago and the yellowing started about 2 days ago and has been getting worse through out the day. The temperature has been getting to 80 - 90 the past couple days outside and I have been taking it outside and putting it under the sun and then back inside under the lights at night - Temperature inside is probably around 70 - 80 day or night. I have more info below and pictures attached. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Also when I transferred my plant the roots looked great, they had completely filled the entire previous pot.

Cherry Pie Clone - 7 Weeks Old
- Indoor Grow - But I have been putting it in the sun the past couple days since it has been so nice.
- 19/5 light schedule
- Fox Fox Ocean Forest Soil
- Distilled Water
- Four 42Watt, 6500K CFL lights & Two 13Watt CFL grow lights
- Started using BluePlanet Micro Nutriets about 2 weeks ago every other water (stopped using after transferring plant)
- Watering every 2 or 3 days now (checking with meter to see when soil is dry)

I have ran into to all sorts of problems in the past couple of days. It seems like the whole lower half of my plant is yellowing and moving upward, on top of the fact that all of the fan leaves from top to bottom have got those brown spots and edges. The lower leaves are all turning yellow and dry and curling down.

I am still very new but my guess is that when re-planted it an gave it fresh soil an put the bat guano and worm casting on at the same time it was just too much for the plant? I want to flush it but that would seem to just take all those nutrients form the bat guano an worm casting from the top of the soil and spread it even more into the roots. And I also want to transplant it to a bigger pot AGAIN but I don't want to put even more fresh soil with more nutrients. Or am I completely wrong and it is a deficiency? Please help, its getting worse by the hour.

I have been posting on another forum, but no one will reply or help me, idk why. I have tried reading everywhere but I cannot figure it out. I am going to buy a new bigger pot an flush the plant before I transfer it, I think I am also going to try to get some soil with no nutrients to mix with my fox farms so I am not giving it fresh soil nutrients too often since I just replanted on Tuesday.

Did you "work" the plant into the full sun slowly or just throw them out all at once?
When going from inside to outside, you need to let a plant acclimate a little at a time by starting them in the shade...and sloooowly work it into the full sun.
I think what you got there is a pretty good case of sunburn.
I don't really know what to do about it...Maybe put it back inside for a while and it'll come back for you.
Hope this helps....Keep us tuned in...would like to see how it works out!...........................J

I didn't work it into the sun, I just threw out at one time. I guess that makes sense, specially because it was like 90 degrees the first couple days. I put it outside this morning for a little bit but then brought it back it after reading this post and realizing it was too windy as well.

Ill post an update in the next couple of days. Thanks for the response.

Im only on my second grow so am no expert but she looks stressed. If you transplanted 4 days ago and she reacted immediately its gotta be nutrient problems. A few photos also suggest an insect problem. Id water and check run off colour to see if you need a flush but i know nothing about bat guano and worm castings so cant advise 100% but shes certainly not happy in that mix. The lower foliage will not produce anything worth keeping, from the photos it looks like the worst area and it takes away from your tops so pinch them off. Transplants cuase alot of stress, you cant avoid damaging roots and they need a recovery period. You say youre planning to transplant again... She will double in height during flower, repot in a big one now and use a different mix (contact your local hydro shop as they will know what soil you need) you should never have to transplant and stress her again. On this grow i germinated in a habistat and planted in seedling soil. 2 weeks later they went straight into 10 litre pots with a brand "special mix" containing enough nutrients for up to six weeks veg depending on pot size so all i had to do was water then flower when she started yellowing as you know the mix is done. She was nearly 2ft when i went 12/12  Wishing you good luck

A few good points above by the other members.

Putting straight out into the hot sun from indoors is a bad idea. Give it 30 minutes under the sun for the first day or 2 then up the time slowly over a week or two.

Also, I just transplanted my plants this morning into their 2.5 gallon buckets. This is a stressful event for the plants and it can take a week for them to begin growing again as normal.

Try to just add water to the plants for that week to make them stress as little as possible. Also worm castings and too much bat guano can lock out nutrients if the soil has too much fert in it.

The very first picture looks like a bad case of heat stress.

Be careful in adding bat guano as it can burn the plants. Also you said the roots were covering the inside of the pots. Do you think you left the plants too long in the old pots ?

Hopefully they will fight back and they will be fine soon. One member here advised to do a flush. I think he might be right.

Take care
