hello, people of ireland :))))
i am a newbie and this is my first plant ive ever tried to grow indoors, i havnt used any grow boxes or any equipment, just water, and sun when ever it is there
and so far so good (i think) my plant managed to survive...
only one thing that bothers me, it is pretty small, and ive started to see a white hairs in all over it, does it mean im already in flowering stage?
oh, i have to say, ive planted my seed early in february, only after i found out that this is not the time for them to be planted, but anyways like i said, its seems to me my baby doing pretty well :)

oh sorry but that, just took a nice picture and wanted to share it with youzz :), and my cammera couldnt focus close enough so i could show you that theres white hairs in the corners, also SHE started to smell isnt that a reason thats it is in flowering? sorry for the dumb question, never grew them before :) overall conditions, as what you see from pictures, is she ok for almost 2 months age? i think the stemp is thin sometimes im afraid the wind will brake it.. oh yes its a bluberry hase, autoflower feminised as i can remeber

the stems do look a bit thin and ya they look small for 2 mts, if they are auto's then maybe they have started flowering, however they will still continue to grow, try tying the plants loosely to a strong upright stick to prevent them breaking, don't overwater this will vastly reduce growth, just stick your finger into the soil about an inch down and if it comes out clean then water but if soil is stuck to your finger then its ok for water, also i dont see perlite in the soil i would advise repotting into a 70/30 soil/perlite mix the roots need oxygen and perlite helps this, try get better pics if poss and i could give u further advice, there's no such thing as a dumb question only dumb answers so ask away and i'll answer best i can

here are more pictures, in those couple of days 5 to be exactly my baby did grow quite a bit, i was really impressed, the stem doubled the size, though you cant really see that from pictures, oh and boy does she started to smell :) i think the top of the plant is forming in some sort of bud already, and theres a lot of white hairs
and about watering, i do water her every 4-5 day
what about the perlite, where could i get it? any local garden centers would have it?
also shall i get any feed for her?
oh, forgot to mention, she is 7 inch tall ;) i know pretty small, but im not complaining

Hey dude.
congrats on getting your grow started.
I can't see any white hairs as I can't zoom in on your photos. They are taken too far away from the plant.
I'm a little worried that your plants are over 2 months old and so scraggly. I would expect them to be much fuller and stronger.
Understandably your plants look like sativa and mine are more indica. Howerver, if I veg for another month my plants will become about 3 feet tall.
Can you give me a full run down of your set up ? Lights, soil, fans, fresh air circulation, etc.
This is my second indoor grow and my plants are 4 weeks old. I'll give you a pic so you can compare.
You can check out my grow on the 'indoor growing' section. I have 2 grows, the first one is called 'testing the Pro-Grow 260'

If we can understand your growing environment we can help you to fix whatever is slowing your plants growth.
Take care dude and good luck.

Jesus now thats a monsters you have there O_O!!!! like i said earlier, im not using any equipment, day time plant is outside, night time plant is inside simple as that, and the only thing it gets is water :)
im not trying to get an oz out of it, it was more like an experiment, would it give ANYTHING at all with just a simple Natural way..
and i know its hard to see any white hair there cause of the bad pictures, but my camera wont let me focus closer :( but they are there
maaaaan i wish i had same big plants as you are, incredible :) good luck with your grow

Yeah, they are becoming big girls by now.
I have a few outdoors this year too. Ill take some pictures when I go to harvest them. I might get some pics in on some of the outdoor plants.
I just picked up some autos from Rhino Seeds that will be able to take the wet weather. mould can be an issue.
The good thing about planting autos with normal plants is that you get 2 harvests in the same year ;) nice !
So good luck with it. I would put both plants outdoors if I were you. Why bother to grow indoors with no proper lights when you get the sun for free.
I would take advantage of that.
Take care

Hey stealth,
The auto are mataro blue automatic. The genetics of these auto originate from areas like chilly Siberia !! very hardy...
You can find them on cannabis seeds dot co dot uk :) This is the Rhino Seed Company address.
The have some great strains and the one currently in my tent are from them, they are wicked powerful growers, very good genetics.
And thanks Skunkdude for the nice compliment ;) I hope you enjoyed checking out my grows. Sure we can be friends :)

hey dude i think it's nitrogen deficient but i wouldn't worry about it unless the leaves above them also start turning yellow

well em, two leafs that first show up after seed are deffinetlly turned yellow, but theres really really small ones coming out of them are green, and the above ones are slighntly yellow, all other are greenish... was wondering, can i trim those yellow ones? or that will shock my lady? reason i want trim them, well those are first leafes, and dont think they make any purpouse anymore, bit i might be wrong tho...
also another thing, im leaving the country for 10 days, is there anything i could do that my plant will survive those days?
stelth stoner

ya i'd say you can pull off those yellow leaves if you want but i wouldn't bother, as for leaving the country you could consider a drip feed system or just leave it out in protective shade of tree or something, if you do leave it out make sure to cover soil with a newspaper to prevent too much rain water from drowning the plant but put a few holes in the news paper to allow some water in.

decided not to put it outside, will leave it in my sunroom, and organize something similar to drip water system, just hope it would be enough for 10 days, thanx for the advice

ok im back, and oh boy i was surprised what i saw, i would of taught anything might happened but not this, she could be dried up, dead, or anything else, but surprisingly she grew up 3 times more than she was, the only thing that bothers me, buds are small, is there anything i could do?

No, 20 hours on and 4 off are good for the autos. You could do 24 hours on but I think the plants need a bit of darkness to rest too.
The plant does different things at night such as taking in oxygen instead of CO2.
The oxygen is necessary to break down the glucose. So you could say that the plant eats at night.
Also, I read that plants such as the banana plant put energy into the fruit at night. So bananas grow at night... But plants are different, I think weed grows day and night :)
Also, a lot of root development is believed to happen during the night time hours.
I think whatever goes on at night would be necessary for full health so give it at least 4 hours of darkness.

damn, i was afraid of this answer, 2-3 weeks i treated my baby bad by switching to 12/12 cycle, oh well, hope shill recover from now as i will give her as lot of light as she might need, i still have time anyway as the trichomes are still clear
thanx for clearing this up for me SL

That "bit" is really criticl for me, oh well, im happy it produced any buds at all :)
Now i would like to talk about regeneration of the plant, how it is done? If anyone knows that it.. I just cut the most of the bud located stem, leaving some fan leafs, and some small grown buds, and start all over again, give pleanty of light for couple of days? Considr im not using any nutrients, will the plant manage to survive and start veg again?

Hello, I'm nervous because my plants (in doors) have been growing healthy since mid April when I started with some Super Lemon Haze seeds from Green House Seeds, but in the last few days, one of the plants started changing the color of the leaves from the bottom to yellow. Some of the main leafs are drying too after a day or two, after being completely yellow. I am planing to change to a sodium bulb next week. I have read that it is normal when the plant is reaching its flowering stage, all though I still have the light 18hs a day. I also thought it could be lack of (N) but I have been feeding it more often and the problem does not ceases. The soil that I used was very rich. Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot!

Hey mate, im not an expert in this situations, but may it be possible you over water the plant? May there be too much of nutrients you give? Hope some one with more knowledge will help you, good luck
