I got some random seeds germinating on a plate. I planted them all only these two have survived. I used random dirt , I will transplant in Fox Farms Ocean Forest. They are in the sun on my patio I will use cfl when it gets too hot. It gets 110+ here in the summer.

They look great man, they seem like they want some more nitrogen. Keep it up and definitely keep us updated!

Greetings jiggsaw!

They look pretty good man, Keep that wind beating on them pretty hard!

Have you started to feed yet? (no sound on this pc) as lay said they look like they have a small nitrogen deficiency (Pale/Lime green leaves)

If you have started to feed then that should take care of the problem!

Here we use 5-3-3 Plant Magic Old-timers Organic Grow, Along with some Nettle tea that we knocked up thanks to the over growing waste land! Got to love mother nature!!

Anyway enough babbling from us!
Good work My friend!

Thanks

Here's an update, they were in a 16 oz. solo cup for almost two months with only miracle grow for food. That's why they have yellowed. I moved them to fox farms .

They look great now man! Little rashes on the leaves look like bud damage though, have you looked into that?

some of that is where the leaves got burned by the cfl , and then grew bigger and it fucked them up. Some is from the deficiencies when it was in the cup and then growing bigger in the pot. The new leaves on top look good and healthy. ANd some whiteness is from the water , I have hard water here. if I have to I'll buy water but until then I'll use the free water. Some guys at the hydro store sell reverse osmosis ph'd water for 49 cent a gallon that would be my first stop.

i'm about to make an update video for you guys right now. I tied them down and changed plans in the middle so they're still in veg. Until I feel like they look right. I was going to tie one plant in a big tight cirlce, like tie it with some yarn into one huge cola. It would be like 4 or 5 branches all equal height clipped trimmed. The bottom bare just the top branches with leaves. all even, tied up and staked. But if I did one like that , the other would have to be the same. I have one plant low and bushy and one high and tight. SO I just made them both bushy. I had to tie the tall one down to make it bushy.

I tied it like 5 times to make it short. Now they're even, I need to make a screen thing to hold them, it's called a scrog grow. I was gonna use a garbage can. On a garbage can you can flip it upside down, paint the inside flat white and have a nice easy led, no heat grow room. You don't Even need a vent just air it out once a day. LEDS are completely heat free right? My LED flashlight never gets hot.

Might still do that trashcan Idea. I'll use a small hole for air with a cpu fan. Lollipop the plant scrog them in the trashcan. Cut holes in the trash can sides with a soldering iron when I need to raise the cages. Use enough string to seal the holes and use white caulk to seal the light.
Small hole at the top and I buy A shit load of dryer or , see if I can find smaller duct work. Then wrap that shit in circles as many times as I can and it should be light tight. Like circle it at least six times in circles the size of the trashcan bottoms, or for me tops.
I can use one trashcan for each plant 6 cfls on top 6 on the sides and bottom for full lighting effect no shadows at all.

Cheap digital temp gauge. That should cost me like 15 for a quality hard big outdoor trashcan, maybe costco has a sale?
WHite paint is like 5 bucks for a big ass can, never use spray paint it creates dust that gets all over your shit. Flat white in a can is best.285284 Use some sand paper to scratch the inside of the can or use a brillo pad and soapy water to wet sand it.

Buy string or yarn for like 5 bucks to make the screen for the scrog. I have a soldering iron, 2 kinds electric and butane. Hydro would work easy in that too. I'd use the lid, I will use the lid in this grow.

Good looking plants! Obviously CFL's can grow pretty plants. What size CFL's do you use & how many? I seen some 42-200W having 3850 lumens. Think those would work?

Again... good looking plants.

Thanks, I use 6 23 watt 100 watt equivalent in veg. I have 8 23 watt equivalent 2700k on the one plant now. one bulb puts out 1750 lumens so i have 14,000 lumens on one plant. I put a car windshield reflector around the light .
