Hi.
I made a growbox for my first grow, it's 2x2ft at base and top and the walls are 3ft high.
I made it for growing short plants, as i've chosen lowryder to learn with.
I bought a 250w CFL which does 19,500 Lumens, this hangs on hooks from the ceiling of the box.
I have two plants, each in 8x8" round plant pots.
The distance between the plants and the light is 10" and i'm getting temps there of 32 celsius (90 farenheit).
I am blowing a fan across the plant crowns to cool the air down, i have two extractor fans (high up) doing 72cfm each, so 144cfm total.
I have an intake fan (low down) doing 72cfm of cool intake.
Is there a way to cool the air right underneath the light ?
I think i read somewhere about having a glass sheet in between the light and the plants but i can't find the post.
Any help greatly appreciated :)
Thanks,
nibs.
