I know people say 3-30 days, but is the 30 the maximum no matter what your weight? As in, is 30 days usually the max for someone who smokes everyday and that's the max it will take if they stop for 30 days, they'll test clean? I'm female, 5'5, 206 lbs and I was 232 in January, but I workout 5 times a week for about 30 or so minutes and lost that weight. Between January and now, I've probably smoked 3-4 times; once in the end of January, none in February, once a day for a week the second week of March, and now once two nights ago. I don't smoke ever (other than those times) and those were just recent. Anyway, I know if you smoke frequently it takes longer (I don't consider that frequent but I could be wrong), but I thought that meant like once a day, all the time. Now, I have a drug test May 14 (a month and a week from now) and I was wondering if it would be out of my system with my weight, the amount of times I smoked, and me not smoking anymore by then? I want to know for sure because I need this job and I also don't want to drown myself in juice (because that's a lot of sugar and like I said, I'm in the process of losing weight) or buy detoxes that are a waste of money. Help please!

We've had many reports here of longtime heavy users taking alot longer than 30 days to finally test negative - even a few that took well over 100 days.

Help please! Nobody can realistically and accurately answer that question for you. Each persons body is different and there are too many variables to take into consideration. Since youve expressed a desire to "know for sure" (and rightfully so), only periodic testing with a THC test kit (using the first urination of the day for each time) can give you that answer.

I'm not a longtime heavy user, which I tried to specify. I know that for those types, it does take much longer than 30 days. What are the best, most accurate testing kits then? I want one that tests higher than 50 ng/ml because I heard people can test neg on those and pos on an 80 ng/ml, which is the standard used for most tests for jobs. Thanks!

The typical initial screen used by the labs is 50 ng, (not 80 ng) which is typical for the home test kits.

Home test kits can be found at your local chain pharmacy store, or do a Google search for "drug testing kits". Im not going to recommend, nor promote/endorse any particular brand of test kit in these forums.
